Ok so I'm fully aware of the spoiler pictures of nick and carla at the canal but this has nothing to do with that, this is just an idea I had so yeah, I have a completely different idea of what will happen in those scenes.

Written from Nicks POV:

Work was quiet, nothing much was happening as each minute passed. Each minute was a minute longer away from my fiancée, the woman I was gonna spend the rest of my life with. As each customer came up to the bar to pay for their meals I was relieved. I was relieved because I would finally be able to go to the flat to see my gorgeous girl. But at that moment the Bistro door flung open and who appeared? No other than Carla Connor, more like Mrs Tilsley.

"Give us a drink will you" she ordered me as she perched herself on a bar stool. I rolled my eyes at her, giving in to her orders as there was no way I would refuse. "Bad day" I say as I grab a bottle of expensive red wine from the fridge and collect a large glass. "Wasn't to bad, just Johnny pestering me all the time" she added. I never really liked Johnny ever since he arrived in the factory, his know it all attitude and opinionated ways really didn't do it for me. As I poured Carla's wine Into the glass I felt her eyes tracing over my face. What was she doing to me? I was working and didn't need this going on. All I want to do is reach over the bar and kiss her and even more so rip all her clothes off right here and now. The customers that were all leaving one by one gradually payed for their meals and thanked me for the excellent service.

"So how was your day then" she looked up from her wine glass as she fiddled with the bottom of it. A smirk plastered her face, making me wanna kiss her even more than I did before.  "Yeah it was quite quiet today actually, just wanted to close at lunch to be honest" I said as I let out a sigh. My eyes drifted from hers down to her hand which lay gently on the counter top. I placed my hand in hers, running my thumb across the top of her hand as I did so. She squeezed my hand lightly, it gave me a feeling of satisfaction.

Everyone had left the bistro now, it was still, no customers needing served, no empty tables needing cleaned, everything was just, still. The only noise that filled the room was mine and Carla's gentle breaths, hers being ever so light and cute. "Everyone's gone now" Carla smirked at me, her eyes as green as ever, sparkling against the dim lights that filled the air. "Hmmmm what you wanna do then" I said while smiling at her. I can't contain my smile when I'm around her, her pressence fills me with warmth and passion. "I don't know, you choose something" she said while getting off her chair and moving to my side of the bar. Her fingers latched around my hand, her eyes connected with mine and her body moved closer. "Why don't we go for a walk" I announced. I guess I just felt like spending some quality time with her, we have all night for some intimate time don't we. "A walk, where?" She said laughing. She doesn't like walking long distances, she never has and never will but I was just planning of a romantic walk by the canal, i guess I'm just a romantic guy. "Hmm the canal" I added. I realised as I said this that it wasn't the most romantic place for a walk but I mean, when was anywhere around weatherfield 'romantic'. "Planning on ravishing me under a tree are ya Nicholas" she smirked. She tugged at my tie, gesturing for a kiss. I placed my lips on hers, I had been waiting for this moment all day, the moment I could have her, hold her, kiss her, look after her. I never wanted to let her go.
