Nick & Carla one shots

1 year aniversary

This is 1 year on from when Nick and Carla first got together.

"Morning gorgeous" Nick said as he entered their room.

"ugh morning" she says as she rolls over slowly and slowly opens her eyes.

"Happy 1 year" he smiles.

"1 year? Nick we only got married a few months ago" she laughs. Nick smiles and sits down on the bed, He moves a piece of hair away from her eyes.

"No not our marriage" he says. Carla frowns. "When we first got together!" he laughs.

Carla buried her head into her pillow. "How could i forget".

Nick wasn't bothered she forgot, he just wanted to remember it.

"Hey, baby, it doesn't matter" he says as he moves the pillow away, revealing her face.

"I wish i had remembered" she pouts. Nick smiles "well it doesn't bother me, anyway, i got us an overnight stay at a 5 star hotel" he beams.

Carla looks at him, thinking he is having a laugh and winding her up. She pulls him down onto the bed. "Don't wind me up Nicholas". He kisses her and smiles. "I'm not winding you up, see" he says as he reveals the booking information. Carla's eyes grow wide.

"Nick, oh my gosh..".

"Happy 1 year baby" he smiles. He leans down an slowly kisses her.

"I love you" she mumbles into the kiss. "And i love you" he replies as he runs his thumb across her cheek.

"come on, lets get up and go for a walk" he says as he tugs on her hand. "a walk?" she laughs.

"Yeah, bit of a walk before we head to the hotel later" he says as he rips the duvet away from her.

"OI" she yells as he runs out of the room.

Carla got up and had a shower, got dressed and packed an overnight bag.

"Nick, i'm ready" she yells. Nick comes into the room. "Right lets go" he says as he grabs the keys and they head to the red rec.

It was a reasonably cold day and Carla just couldn't wait to get in the hot tub at the hotel.

"Ah its cold Nick" She says as they walk along the pavement. "awh babe, come here" he says as he pulls her closer into him. Carla lean't her head on his chest.

"ill tell you what, you really know how to make a girl feel special" Carla smiles.

"Only the best for my girl" he says as he kisses her on the head. Nick had always been so loving towards Carla and would always be like that. He genuinely loved her and she loved him.

"Can we sit down Nick, my back is killing me" she laughs as she walks over to the closest seat. Nick rolled his eyes and laughed.

Carla sat down slowly, as her back felt like it had gone out of place. "Is it really sore?" Nick asks.

"Yeah, its just like gone out of place or something" she says as she leans into him.

"maybe we should head to the hotel, the hot tub might help" he says as he rubs his hand around her back.

"Yeah, can we?" she says as she stands up slowly. "We can just have a bit of 'us' time" he smiles.

Nick and Carla arrived at the hotel and their room was stunning, there was a lot of white and red with some gold, they had their own private hot tub on their balcony.

"That hot tub looks so nice" Carla says as she gets herself undressed. She didn't need to change into a bikini seeing as its only her and Nick.

"It does, lets get in" he says as he walks over to it. Carla follows and watches Nick get in. She tries to get in herself but the pain in her back was to bad to step in.

"ow ow ow" she says as she tries to lift her leg, she holds the base of her back.

"You okay?" Nick asks as he sees the painful expressions on her face.

"My back, babe" she says as she takes a seat on the edge of the hot tub.

"Here ill help you" he says. He grabs her waist and swivels her so she is now able to just move into the tub. She moves down into the tub and falls onto Nicks lap. "Oh, not a bad spot to fall is it" She laughs. "Not at all" he smirks.

Carla sat on Nicks lap and after a while she drifted off to sleep. He wrapped his arms around her waist to steady her, so she didn't fall into the water and drown.

It was now getting late and Carla and Nick were laying in bed, just chatting about the last year together.

"You told me you would take your chances, and i'm so glad you did" Carla said.

"Im glad i did as well, ill never give up on you" he says before giving her a kiss.

"You know, when we got married, that was the best day of my life because i finally became a Tilsley" she smiled. "Well we are now officially the Tilsley's".

The couple snuggled up in bed together before drifting off to sleep, Nicks hand resting on her back to soothe the pain.

"To a very short engagement but a very long marriage" was the words she said at their engagement party, but now, over 6 months later they are married happily, and hopefully will endure a very long marriage.
