Chapter 5

Dacey's POV

I decided to just spent the rest of the weekend at home after Harry dropped me off. I really needed to think. But that didn't last long when Dakota texted me

To: Dacey

From: Dakota

I'm so bored. We need to do something!

To: Dakota

From: Dacey

I was just gonna stay home, but you can come over if you like

To: Dacey

From: Dakota

Already on my way

Well I guess there went my relaxing weekend. Oh well it will be nice to actually be able to hang out with Dakota in person after 5 years. It was hard being in a different place and staying best friends but we definitely made it work and I'm so thankful for that. I really don't know what I would do with out my crazy best friend always there for me.

A few minutes later the door bell rang and then Dakota appeared in my room.

"We'll hello to you too" she said sarcastically.

"HI" I screamed laughing at her sarcasm.

"So what did you and Harry talk about?" She said coming and sitting on the end of my bed.

"Just what happened while I was gone, the lads, he said I should try talking to Niall" I said getting quieter on the last part.

"I have to say I agree with him, just try and talk to him, give him a chance" She said almost pleading and begging.

"Eventually..maybe. Like the last day of school" I chuckled and Dakota laughed with me. I don't think I'm going to find someone who will agree with me. Everybody just wants me to try and talk to Niall.

I woke up a bit earlier this morning to get to school, just so I can get to English early and not have to talk to Niall. I know Dakota and Harry say I should but its my choice anyway and right now I choose not to.

So I walk in to English and sit down, I'm the first person here besides Mr. Scott.

"Good Morning Dacey" he smiles at me and writes something on the bored.

"Morning Mr. Scott" I say and then pull out my phone to look at twitter while I wait for class to start.

Everybody is finally in class, Dakota being the last person to walk in right when the bell rings looking a lot more excited than usual.

"What's up with you" I whisper to her and I can see Niall watching us out of the corner of my eyes.

"I'll tell you after class" she says not removing her smile at all. Slowly I turn back to the front looking at her weird. I try not to make eye contact with Niall so he finally turns away. I guess he's not going to give up after all.

"So what's got you so happy" I asked Dakota while walking out of English together.

"Liam finally asked me to be his girlfriend" she said almost jumping up and down with excitement, but managing to control her self some.

"Dakota that's awesome!! You are so adorable together" I say and she blushes and says thanks before we go our separate ways to our classes.

After 3rd period I go to the cafeteria again. Instead of waiting and trying to find a table I go strait to the one I sat at last week with Harry. This time I make sure to sit between Harry and Zayn to make sure Niall can't come up next to me.
