Chapter 11

Dacey's POV

I walked in to the cafeteria for lunch and sat at the usually table we have sat at since school started. After me Harry was the first one to get to them table.

"So Dakota told me what happened with you and Niall" he announced with a suspicious smirk on his face. I don't think Harry understands the meaning of just 'friends' not even best friends.

"Yeah, I told him we can try to be friends again" I said making sure he got the word 'friends' then I sat down and began eating as did Harry.

"Finally took my advice" he said proud of himself as the rest of our table began to walk up and sit down. I was now between Zayn and Harry with Niall sitting right across from me looking directly at me. I made eye contact with him and then quickly looked away trying to escape the awkwardness. I looked around the rest of the table and everyone was looking back and forth between us. Finally Dakota faked a cough to try and pull us out of the silence that had taken over the table. I looked at her giving her a silent thank you and she smiled in return. Finally Louis completely broke the silence.

"What on earth is going on?" He said raising his eyebrows looking at me and Niall then to everyone else. "I'm so confused" he said completely defeated. Liam and Zayn just shrugged considering they really don't know what's going on either. Which left Harry to tell everyone.

"Dacey and Niall decided to try and be friends again" he said still proud thinking its all because he said we should. Liam and Zayn just smiled and excepted it. Almost like they knew it was going to happen at some point.

"Really?" Louis asked excited. "Finally! Now we can all hang out with out having to leave someone out every time" he said while releasing a sigh and seeming relieved. Me and Niall shared a glance both not seeming to understand what was going on now. I know we didn't tell Niall we were meeting at Harry's house once, but had they been doing the same to me. By the look on Niall's face he seemed to be wondering the same thing.

"What he means" Zayn said cutting Louis off and stoping me and Niall from being able to wonder.

"Is we're just glad that we can all be friends" Harry said finishing Zayn's sentence off with a smile before any body else could say something they weren't suppose to.

Leaving 4th period to go to 5th was a bit nerve racking. Sure I told Niall we could be friends but I haven't actually talked to him yet.

I walked in the class room and took my seat just like every other day. Niall wasn't here yet and the bell was about to ring. He walked in right when it did and the teacher began to talk. Leaving it so I didn't even have to worry if it would be awkward with me and Niall.

"Alright I told you we would be starting a project." The teacher said "what I didn't tell you is that your working with partners" he announced this which caused the class to erupt in to cheers.

"Do we get to pick our partners?" A shy girl seated in the back of the room who normally never talks asked.

"No you don't" he stated receiving many 'boo's' and people trying to convince him to let us choose our partners and that it would actually work much better. Obviously some people haven't learned yet that Mr. Oliver is not easily convinced.

"Your going to be working with the person who sits beside you" he announced."
