Dacey's POV

I stand in front of my body length mirror. Looking at my baby blue dress as I slide the sleeves of my gown over my arms. I reach over to my bed picking my cap up and gently placing it on my head. Today is the day I have been waiting for.

Graduation.

I walk down the stairs where my mom is waiting. Tears are already in her eyes as she pulls me into a tight hug. I hug her back embracing her in this moment. When she lets go I look to Tristan, he smiled but I can see he is actually upset. Even thought he'll never admit to it. The door bell rings and I walk to answer it. I am met with Niall in his cap and gown.

"Hello beautiful" he greets me with a quick kiss on the lips.

"I'll see you there mom" I tell her and walk out the door. Niall opens the car door and I get inside and wait for him to join me in the vehicle.

"So are you ready for your speech mrs. valedictorian" he jokes with a huge smile on his face.

"I'm really nervous actually" I tell him and can feel the sweat building up in my palms in anticipation of the speech I will be giving just minutes from now.

"Your gonna do great" he says reaching over and grabbing my hand.

When we get to the building we walk in and take our seats. I look around as the room fills with students and parents. The over the mic a voice calls out my name and that's my que. Niall gives one last squeeze to my hand and wishes me good luck. I walk up to the stage and go to stand behind the podium.

"Hi everybody, so I'm sure your all expecting a really long drown out speech from me, but don't worry it won't be that bad" I say and earn a laugh from the crowd. I keep my sight down not looking at anybody. "this year was a roller coster of different things as I'm sure it was for most of you. The ups and downs with school work but more of it from the people around us. This year helped me so much. It helped me to find my true friends who are there for me with anything." I say this a I look down the row of seats looking at Zayn, Louis, Liam, Dakota, and finally Harry "it also showed me true love" I keep my eyes on Harry then move to look at Niall. I can see Harry show sadness for a second before replacing it with a genuine smile. Which helped me to go on and finally feel ok about us. As I looked at Niall he looked so happy and proud as he met my gaze giving me the biggest smile ever. "I learned so much from the people around me an am happy to say I am graduating with these people. So class of 2014 this is to us and everything we have and will achieve."

I finish my speech and the whole auditorium erupts in to laugh clapping. So I walk off the stage back to my seat.

It was a long time sitting as each person was called to walk across the stage. In this moment I realized that I did it. I made it through high school. I have all of my best friends back, and I finally have Niall nothing could be better than this.

So as the end came I reached up ad grabbed my cap. Then at the sound of 3 I threw it up as high in the air as I could. I looked up seeing all of the caps flying around as everyone cheered. Then my chin was slowly turned to the right by Niall and he leaned down pressing his lips to mine.

"I love you."
