Levi x Reader - Cleaning

You glared out the window at the courtyard below. You were deep in thought, tapping your pencil on the old stone. You and the rest of your squad had arrived at the Survey Corp's old base a day ago. You twirled your pencil and quickly added into your personal diary what Levi had in store for today... cleaning. You sighed and quickly hid your journal in your bag and headed into the hall. Being one of the oldest members in Levi's squad, since you came a few years after he joined the corps, you knew about his excessive cleaning habit. You weren't nearly as much of a clean freak as he was but you did have an annoying amount of OCD making anyones lives who lived with the two of you a living hell. You grabbed a mop and a bucket and began cleaning, taking extra care to make sure it was to Levi's liking.

You had just finished cleaning up one of the hallways when you heard voices in a neighboring room. You came in and saw Levi and Eren all talking. "Sir!" You said quickly saluting to Levi. "Hey Eren." You said. "Hey Y/N." "What is it brat?" Levi said. You looked straight into his eye. Although he was short, you were of equal height making it easy to catch his attention but you had almost been stepped on by Mike and Erwin more than once. "Just making sure this room was clean." You shrugged. "But it seems clean freak's in charge here." Levi stared at you with unmoving eyes as you giggled at your own joke. "There's the whole basement to clean short-stack." Levi said flicking you between the eyes. You smiled was replaced with a scowl. "Well I'm not doing it alone." Levi pointed to Eren. "Take Titan boy with you." You glanced at Eren who looked more lost than threatening. Poor guy didn't look like a titan at all. "Fine." You said. As Eren headed off, Levi held you off to the side. "Listen brat. If anything goes wrong with Jaeger down there, get out. I'll handle him." You knew about Eren being a titan but you seriously doubted he would do anything. "Sure thing but I'm sure I can handle him. After all, I put up with you... shorty." You quickly fled the room before he could give you anymore work.

You spent he whole rest of the day making sure every crack and crevice was clean from dirt, leaving you hot, tired, and hungry. To exhausted to eat, you said goodbye to Eren and went straight to your room silently cursing. You had forgotten to clean your room earlier today and there was no way you were going to sleep in a room so against Levi's code. The time Levi had given for that you had spent writing in you journal about how badass he was. You pulled off your head scarf and pulled down you mouth one. You wiped off some of the sweat on your forehead and braced yourself for the mess to come. You opened the door and shuffled in. Looking up you found Levi sitting cross-legged on your bed with a book in his hand.

"Whaaaaaa!" You stared at the cleanliness of the room and all your folded things placed straight and arranged in their drawers. Everything was straight and smooth, the only crease being where Levi was sitting. Multiple things ran through your head as you stood in a very poor karate position as if to fend off attackers. You were moved by the fact that Levi decided to clean you room (although it was probably because he couldn't stand the mess) but concerned on how he moved all your underwear into the right place. "Relax. I cleaned you room for you. I couldn't live in the same building with a room like this in the first place." He said turning a page int he book. You freaked out as you noticed he was reading your journal. "Levi! Where did you get that! Give it back!" You ran at him, arms waving but he just stood up and pushed you back with one arm while he held the journal in the other. "Quiet brat I'm trying to read." You cursed your short arms. "Levi!" You said again. Levi read for another minute before sighing and closing your journal. "Very well. I'll give it back. Your annoying you know that?" He flicked your head and you quickly snatched up the journal. Levi passed you as he headed out the door. "You might want to remove that part about .................." He whispered into your ear before he slipped out of the room and closed the door. "WHAAAAAA!" Your entire face turned red and you collapsed to the ground, unable to get up. Maybe instead of cleaning the halls tomorrow, you would think of cleaning out your journal.

Levi gave a small smile after he closed the door. He heard you freak out then heard your body hit to floor. He thought it was adorable. Levi turned back to check on you but stopped when he heard someone coming around the corner. "You ok Levi?" Eren asked as he watched his hand hover over the handle. Levi stared at him a moment before lowering his hand. "Fine brat. Shouldn't you be in the dungeon?" He asked. "I was heading there... now...." Eren said pointing as Levi hunched over and walked by him. "Just make sure you get there." Levi said looked at Eren out of the corner of his eye before turning at the end of the hall and leaving Eren's sight.

Sorry I know, not very lovy-dovy but Levi would just seem WAY to out of character. Whatever he whispered to you is your own business. God knows what some of you may think. Maybe (if I do another Levi one-shot) it might have some for of an actual relationship in it. This is the final chapter I'm posting before finals. Finals end December 18 and then I'll be back on track! See ya soon!
