You and Rose glanced around in awe at the new world the Doctor had just taken you to. "Awesome..." You said breathlessly. "Isn't it?" The Doctor said stepping out of the Tardis next to you. He looked around as he spoke. "New, New Earth. 5787AD. Home of the last few of the human race and.... The beginning of a new one." You glanced around as a group of humans walked by and waved. You waved back shyly as they went on theirway. They looked sort of Vulcan. "What to you mean new one? We just like,mate with aliens is that what yer saying?" Rose asked. "Oh yes!" The doctor said practically bursting with energy. "New planet, new life, but the essenceof humans always lives on! Aren't youamazing!" You glanced at Rose andsmiled. "So we all turn intoSpock?" The Doctor made a face aRose. "No. No. No." He held a finger to herface. "No Spock. We've discussed this." The Doctor turned away and Rose gave a slygrin to you. "What?" You asked. "Oh you know. Matin withaliens and what not. It's pretty obviousyou want to do the same." "W-what?!?" You saidblushing. Rose smiled. "Well isn't it obvious Y/N. You like him." You glanced over at yourspaceman who was pointing at things and smiling at you both. "Well, it not like any things gonnahappen." You held your arm tight and tried not to think about it. "Doctor!" Rose called out. "What?" Rose glanced at you. "I'm going to pop off to the loo. Mind waiting a bit?" The Doctor glanced at her. "No, not at all. Off you go!" He waved her off and you sat down on a benchnext to the Doctor playing with your fingers nervously. The silence between you to was uncomfortablebut you didn't know how to break it. Luckily, you didn't have to. "Enjoyingit?" The Doctor said. "W-what?" You said turning to him. "Enjoying this." He said gesturing to everything aroundyou. "Oh yes. It's amazing." The Doctor smiled. "When does it end?" You almost whispered. "When does what end?" The Doctor said looking at you with hisworried eyes. "The human race,us. We have to end at one pointright?" "Y/N, Y/N, Y/N." The Doctor said. You looked into his eyes and saw some of thebrightness had dimmed. "Not allthings have to end. The human race moveson. You evolve. That's what you've always done... while I...I loose everything." You knew abouthow his planet and people were gone and you knew almost everything he caredabout went with it. "Well you gotme." You said putting a hand on hislap. "But one day you'll leaveto. You all go eventually." You glared at him and gave him a light, butforceful punch. "Oi! That hurt!" The yelped, rubbing his arm. "Then don't talk of such darkthings. What matters now is thepresent." The Doctor leaned hiselbows on his knees and put his hand together. "Well technically not the present but more of wherever we end upnext." "True." You said with a slight smile. The pair of you sat in silence once morebefore the Doctor spoke. "Is thiswhat I turn you people into?... soldiers and warriors I mean..." You glanced at him, smile once againgone. "Everyone has their innerdemons Doctor, you can't change that." "But sometimes I'm the one who causes it." You crossed your arms as the Doctor leanedback on the bench. "Well your notgoing to be the cause of it for me." Just then your stomach let out a growl making you blush and hide yourface. "Well, well, well. Looks like one inner demon begs todisagree." The Doctor said, hisvoice and eyes returning to their usual self. You could only nod your head in agreement. "Well come one then! Off your pop!" The Doctor jumped up, dragging you by thehand behind him. "Lets to try toFuture Food shall we? We'll grab somefor Rose as well. Oh! Let's make it a feast! A Banquet!" People stared at the pair of you as hedragged you along to the food stands. You used your free hand to cover your face to hide you blush. Rose watched as You ran behind the Doctor ashe pushed you up to the first stand. "Way to go Y/N." Rosesaid to herself before running up to join you.
