Mira's POV

Tuesday Morning, Herbology.

I walked to Herbology class alone. I carried books upon books, struggling to get them to class. I was almost at the greenhouses when my arms decided to give way. I dropped all of the books and they landed with a thud in the dirt.

I cursed under my breath, squatting down to pick my books up. I heard the crunch of gravel behind me so I turned around to face whoever it was. It was Neville, who happened to be jogging towards me. He put his books down and helped me collect the rest of mine. Neville took some of the ones I had been carrying, and stacked them atop his own pile.

"Thanks, Neville." He smiled at me and we continued walking into the greenhouses in silence. We sat next to each other, and listened to Sprout.

"Now your assignments are due today." Sprout turned towards the board.

I kicked myself mentally. "Damn," I swore under my breath.

Neville nudged me. I put my index finger up and stood slowly. I quickly ran out of the greenhouse unnoticed and pulled my wand out.

"Accio Herbology project!" I waved my wand and closed my eyes, thinking of the exact place I had left it - by the door in my room. I held out my other hand and opened my eyes, seeing the poster laying beside my feet. I bent down and tucked it under my arm.

"I love this spell." I grinned to myself as I re-entered the classroom. Professor Sprout was still facing the blackboard, scribbling notes down. I gracefully moved through the class and over to my seat, where I sat down. I held the poster out, offering it for Neville to take. He smiled at it approvingly, and a small blush formed on my cheeks.

Sprout turned around, "Shall we begin with Mr Longbottom and his partner, Miss Leatherby?"

April's POV

I sat alone in Transfiguration class, not paying attention to anyone or anything. My arm had been irritating me lately, but I had thought it would just pass. I rubbed my arm lightly every now and then, hoping the burning sensation would fade away. It didn't ease, but instead seemed to get worse.

After class, I sprinted down the hallways, making my way to the girls bathroom. My arm was still hurting, I thought maybe some cold water could help. I continued running, but was soon stopped. I ran into someone. I looked up to see Draco towering over me.

No one was around, which was a good sign.

"Are you alright?" He asked, looking me over.

I quickly did the same. Draco was clutching his arm, and a faint grimace was set upon his features. "Yeah..." I answered, "What about you..." I trailed off uncertainly.

"I'm just fine.." He muttered.

"I have to go to the bathroom," I announced.

Draco nodded stiffly, "I'll see you later." He tried to smile but he couldn't quite seem too. We then parted ways and I saw him stride away, rather quickly. I did the same.

As I reached the bathroom, I looked into the mirror to see my reflection. 'No different,' I thought silently.

I then pulled my sleeve up, the pain was just a dull pulsing.

Mira's POV

After Herbology, Neville invited me to the Gryffindor common room. I gladly accepted. Every now and then, I'd look down at his hand out of the corner of my eye. It twitched every now and then. Suddenly, the hallway got really crowded - students were filling the space. I moved closer to Neville and wrapped my arms around his upper right arm. I looked up at him, his face had turned bright red. I blushed too, but continued grasping his arm as he led me away.

When we got there, I sat on the couch, facing the fireplace. It was a nice and cozy place.

"Why are we here, anyway?" I asked when Neville reached me.

"Because. I wanted to..." Neville chose his words carefully. "Get to know you better."

Neville propped his legs up on the couch, then crossed them. I copied him.

"Okay. What do you want to know?" I asked him.

He shook his head, thinking. "Um. How long have you known April?" He asked.

I answered slowly, "All my life, I guess." I looked at the empty fireplace and shivered.

"Are you cold?" He asked. I nodded and inched closer. Neville hesitated, but placed his arm around me. I leaned my head on his shoulder. We continued to talk for a while, with me laughing a few times and him blushing and smiling a bit.

I looked up at Neville. He was nervously moving in closer to me. His lips met mine suddenly. It was a small kiss, but it was also comforting and nice. Neville pulled away, and I stood up too fast, making my head spin a little.

Stuttering a little, I managed to mumble, "Uh, I have to go."

And with that, I left the Gryffindor common room, feeling like heaven had fallen.
