Chapter 11

Harley's POV

It was Monday again and I didn't wanna go to school. I looked a lot better than I did a few days ago but I still don't want to go. There was a good reason though, the school would have an assembly and those that did it to me would get kicked out.

when I was in the hospital I had to give a statement to the cops about what happened. It turns out I wasn't very useful as I didn't know what happened after I blacked out I told them who it was but I couldn't give them a reason why. After I was awake I remembered hugging and crying on someone, that I later realised was Jay. Which is also another reason I didn't want to go in, things would get awkward and I'd prefer if that didn't happen because then he could find out everything.

I sighed and got ready for school since Hunter told me there was no way in hell I was staying home; because he wanted those assholes gone otherwise he'd do something about it. Once I was ready I headed downstairs where I said goodbye and headed to school in my car. Once I had arrived I scurried to the main office, I had been told to go there when I came back to school.

Once everything had been sorted there I headed to homeroom. I sat in my seat and put my headphones on listening to the song that was playing. As I listened to the beat, I got the strange feeling I'd had a while ago, I felt like someone was watching me.

After homeroom had finished we had to go to the main hall instead of first period. I didn't want to go so I did what I've done only once before. I bunked.

Jay's POV

Once homeroom finished I headed to the main hall with everyone else, well almost everyone. As I passed one of the locker rooms I saw Harley, she sprinted out from behind a few and almost to the end where she skidded to a halt behind some others. She then disappeared round the corner and I'm guessing out onto the campus. To be honest I couldn't blame her for bunking this stupid assembly. Who would want to go when they knew the assembly was about them??

I sat down near the back with Ace and Brodie. Soon after everyone had sat down the head began to speak "I know that most of you are wondering why you've got an assembly." A few murmurs passes through the students before the head continued.

"Well as the majority of you probably saw, last Friday an ambulance was called to our school." The level of noise rose slightly. "Anyway, the ambulance wasn't part of a prank or a wrong call, it was actually here for a student. Now this student was jumped and attacked by some of their fellow classmates. I will not name any names but we know who did it and they will be felt with. They will not only never be allowed to set foot here ever again but will be dealt with by the police as they have committed assault." Murmurs and whispers began about who it was and who got hurt. I sighed I now understand why she didn't want to be here.

After that we where dismissed, so everyone headed to first lesson. I slumped down in my seat, since I had math. The teacher sighed "alright class since there's not much time left, finish off any homework or something and if you haven't got any then chill or whatever." I rolled my eyes and got out my phone and began texting Ace and Brodie.

When the bell went I raced out of class and into a the hallway where I met the guys and we all headed to chemistry. Once inside the class I smiled as I realised that we had a practical today. We'd be split into groups and we'd have to make a certain colour appear. I partnered up with Ace and Brodie. We grabbed the stuff and set up before being given the chemicals. We didn't follow the instructions exactly and we created some purple liquid thing. Since our chemistry teacher Miss Carswell didn't really give a fuck she just told us that we could try and make as many colours as we could and right down how we did it.

Everything was going great till something smashed. I looked up to see that someone had broken a test tube. Nothing to bad then that was until someone started yelling. As it turned out the test tube had broken and its contents had gone over one of Layla's lapdogs bags. I couldn't help but laugh. Maybe things were looking up.

At lunch no one bothered us which was surprising to say the least. As I scanned around the cafeteria I noticed that a few members of the football team where missing. I smirked I hope those assholes got what they deserved. I scanned round the rest of the cafeteria and frowned Harley wasn't anywhere to be seen. I thought that she'd have come back after the assembly. I was broken out of my trance when Ace spoke "dude what's got you looking like a kid being told Santa's not real??" I rolled my eyes at his comparison.
"Really?? You could of had any comparison and you chose that." He shrugged
"Well, what's up??" I shook my head
"I'm just worried about Harley" he nodded.

I heard Brodie chuckle
"Crushing on two chicks, look who's grown up finally" I smirked
"Dude I get laid more than you do"
"In your dreams maybe" I couldn't help but laugh.
"Anyway, I was thinking of leaving the gym early today so I could spend more time with Alec" they nodded in agreement
"Sounds like a good idea you haven't spent a lot of time with him lately because of everything." I smiled and we continued to talk about random shit for the rest of lunch.

*Time skip leaving school*

School had just ended and we where heading to the gym. Once outside I parked and headed in with all my gear I signed in with Jack before heading to the changing rooms. Once I was sorted I headed over to the bags and began to practice. It wasn't long before the guys joined me.

After about an hour or so the door burst open to reveal Raven. She had a confident smirk on her face as she strode into the gym. "Miss me??" Was all she said before she was jumped by Pixie. I rolled my eyes and chuckled slightly at the pair. Soon after Brodie disappeared somewhere. "Yo Scar have you seen Arrow??" He shook his head
"Last I saw he was with that Raven chic" I sighed he had to stop disappearing like that.

Roughly ten minuets later I heard A high pitched female squeal and his voice "Raven let me go"
"Next time you'll think twice before you sneak up on me then won't you." Came her reply. I turned away from the bag I was using to see Raven drag Brodie by his top into the middle of the room. "Ok ok I'm sorry, Jesus woman" she smirked and moved her finger I front of his face
"No, no, no you have to have some thing as a warning" she paused before a smirk made its way onto her face "I know, since we're training how about a fight??" Brodie audibly gulped
"Uh sure" she smile and skipped of to the ring.

Everyone gathered around to see the fight. Both of them got into position and waited for the bell to be wrung. As soon as it sounded they began. Brodie charged at Raven. She waited till the last second to dodge his move before she swung her foot, which caught him right in the chest and winded him. He recovered quickly and tried again this time he got her arm in a good grip she spun in towards him and elbowed him in the face causing him to let go. Then while he was off balance she took him out at the knees.

He didn't stay down long and as she aimed a kick he grabbed her leg and yanked her down. He began to throw hits at her which she blocked before "tough luck this time Raven" I saw her laugh and all of a sudden she was on top
"Why I always win" was all she said before she hopped out of the ring. As she did this I noticed all of her tattoos; along with her dragon I noticed a rose on her thigh, what looked to be a feather near her collar bone and as her back passed me I could just see a small skull creeping out from behind her hair. As I saw this I couldn't help but think it was hot, I mean come on a chick who can fight and has tattoos?? How much more could you ask for??

Once Brodie was sort of back to normal we headed to the changing rooms. Once we where all ready they left to go home while I headed over to my car. As I was getting in I got the weird feeling of someone watching me so I turned around only to be met with an empty parking lot. I sighed before heading to pick Alec up so we could go home.
