Chapter 12

Harley's POV

It was now Wednesday which meant that I had double drama second and third. I wasn't looking forward to it because let's face it did I really be any more drama in my life.

Anyway back on topic I headed out of maths and into Mr Robinsons class for drama. I sat down in my seat as the rest of the class filed in. Once everyone was sat down he began to speak. "Ok guys so since Christmas is coming I've been asked to select students to act, sing or dance for the show so for the next couple of weeks I'll be watching you and deciding who's gong to be doing what. Also remember that there's two senior drama classes so if you want to be a part of the production then you better get practicing." He gathered some stuff before speaking again "right well I'll split you into three groups, dancing, singing and acting." After that he split the class into three areas before asking students where they'd like to go I didn't mind where I went so he put me in acting.

Once everyone had split off he assigned everyone something. When he got to us he looked around the group "ok, first of all I'll need a male and female leader" he looked around one more time "ok Harley your the female leader. Jay you can be the male leader" we both nodded and waited for him to continue "right well I'll give each of you a script and we'll work from there. For the remainder of the first lesson we practised our individual scripts till he asked for us to go up and see him.

We had to go up to show him how well we could act. Once that was all done he called everyone who was acting up to the front. "Right now this next section is to see how well you work out of your comfort zone. You'll be working with a partner of my choice and you have one week to reproduce a scene from a movie." We all agreed and he began picking people "Claire and Sam. Dylan and Shane. Jane and Callum..." I began to block out everything till my name was called " ok last pair Harley and Jay" my head shot up wait what?? Did this really just happen.

I turned to face him and he smirked "well this should be fun" was all he said before the bell for third lesson went
"Right get into your pairs and begin looking for a scene. Use the laptops or books and get searching while I go check the dancers." As he walked away he threw "don't forget you'll have to meet up with your partner to practice." I turned to Jay and he nodded. We grabbed one of the laptops
"What movie do you wanna do??" He shrugged
"As long as it's not something from a chick flick I don't care"
"Well you're lucky I don't watch shit like that then" he laughed
"Who knew the nerd could swear??" I laughed and shoved him gently
"Seriously though, what movie??" He sighed
"How about an action scene or something like that??" I nodded
"Sounds good" after that we looked online trying to find a scene that we both liked. In the end we ended up watching Fast and Furious.

To be honest it didn't feel as awkward as I thought it would. I've just got to remember not to get too attached or close to him, he didn't know about my double life and hopefully he never will. Once the bell went for break we switched off the laptop, grabbed our stuff and left the classroom. I headed to the lunch line to order my food once done I headed to my table. I was eating some of my food when Jay came over "hey Haley, when do you wanna practice for drama??" I rolled my eyes
"I don't know we don't even have a scene yet" he scratched the back of his neck
"Next drama lesson we'll find one yeah??" I nodded
"Yeah then I guess we'd find places to practice" he nodded and walked away.

Jay's POV

Ok so talking to Harley wasn't the best idea, it made me look like an idiot and it really isn't helping me out in any way, shape or form with the hole Harley, Raven situation. Although I guess neither did the fact that we're  paired in drama. Fuck my life.

As I sat down at my usual table Brodie spoke up "yo Jay what was that about??"
"What was what??" I asked he laughed
"Why where you over with Harley??"
"Drama class, we got paired up and have to recreate a scene from a movie" was all I said. Ace nodded
"Why not do a fight scene or something??" I shrugged
"Don't know if she'd be up for it, I don't really know what kinda girl Harley is" both of them shared a look
"You'll be fine just ask her next drama lesson" I nodded
"Cool ok." After that we ate out food and chatted about random shit till the bell went. After that I headed to history one of the most boring subjects ever.

I sat down in my seat as the teacher walked in "ok class open your textbooks to 305" I grabbed out my book and turned to the page once I saw what it was I smiled maybe this lesson wouldn't be so bad after all. As it turned out we where learning how weaponry had evolved through time.

I sat there for the hour listening slightly as I stated out the window thinking about what to do with my situation. One the bell went I packed up my stuff and left the room.

*Time skip after school*

After the final bell rang I made a B line to my car. As soon as I got to it I got in and headed to Alec's school. I pulled up and got out. Since his school finished about ten minutes after mine I had plenty of time to get there. One the bell went all the kids came charging out. I couldn't spot Alec anywhere "come on, where are you buddy??" I mumbled.

I looked up and saw him walking out of the building with his friend Ben and a girl I'd never seen before. Once he spotted me he raced over and gave me a hug "hey dude, how was your day??" He smiled
"It was great me and Ben had so much fun" I smiled
"Who's your new friend??" He looked confused "the girl you where with??"
"Oh her, that's Lottie" he then began telling me all about her on our journey home.

Once we got home I turned to him "got any homework you need to do??" He nodded
"Yeah maths." I smiled
"Well I've got science and English, how about once we've done all our homework I order us a pizza for dinner and we watch a movie??" He smiled like a crazy person
"Yeah let's do that" he giggled; and that's exactly what we did.
