Chapter 26

Harley's POV

I was interrupted again by the door to the studio opening I looked up to find Ace "hey Harley, everything alright??" I stopped the music and sat down
"Yeah I'm alright, just had to let off some steam before I broke a bitches face" he snorted at my answer
"Is that all I'm gonna get or are you gonna elaborate??" I chuckled before telling him the entire story. "Are you kidding, damn I mean I knew some teachers dismissed their behaviour but thats just too far" I nodded
"Yeah I know so I came here to wind down and relax" he nodded
"I can see that, where did you learn to dance like that it was amazing"  I chuckled
"Mum taught me to dance, sometimes when I feel too stressed or overwhelmed I dance" he nodded and we sat there for the rest of break just chatting. By the time it came to third period I was in a better mood I couldn't wait for the day to be over.

The rest of the day passed agonisingly slow but I was glad when it was finally over. I met up with the guys since it wasn't our day at the gym today; we headed down to Alec's school to pick him up so we could go somewhere with him.

Since I got a lift to school this morning I got into Brodie's jeep since he and Ace were car sharing today, seriously though do those guys live together or something?? They do just about everything together. Anyway once we had picked up Alec we headed into town.

Once we had parked up and got out we wondered down the street until Alec stopped in front of a stores window "what you looking at buddy??" Asked Jay, Alec just pointed up. I followed his line of sight and also gaped at it; Alec had been looking at a huge remote control helicopter which had all sorts of gadgets on it and even a place to put a camera for arial shots. It looked absolutely amazing, it would surely cost a fortune to buy, but Alec looked so mesmerised by it I couldn't help but start forming a plan in my mind, there was just a few things I'd need to sort out first.

After we'd managed to pull Alec away from the store we continued on our way until we came to a nice looking cafe, we decided to go in and order some food. Once we'd all sat down in a booth, Ace and Brodie on one side and Alec in the middle of Jay and me on the other we began looking through the menus for what to eat. I didn't really want to eat much so I ordered a bowl of tomato and basil pasta and then began helping Alec with what he wanted as he couldn't quite read all the words on the kids menu, in the end he went with chicken nuggets and fries while the guys went for burgers. Once we'd all eaten out meals and paid Alec wanted to go to the mall so we headed there next.

As we had to cross a few roads Alec ended up on jays shoulders, all I can say to that is aww, it was so cute to see them acting so brotherly. After we got to the mall we wondered around for a bit when Alec began basically bouncing on his brothers shoulders. Jay put him down "what is it bud?? What's wrong??" Alec didn't say anything but began to drag Jay towards one of the windows. We all followed to see what had caught his eye this time only to see a display with lots and lots of different sweets, it looked amazing so we headed inside. As soon as we opened the door it was like stepping into Willy Wonka's chocolate factory, there were sweets and chocolates of all shapes, sizes and colours and it smelled like absolute heaven. Behind the counter was a short motherly looking woman who smiled at us "oh hello there, is there anything I can help you with??" We smiled back at her
"Not at the moment thank you we're just looking"
"That's fine is there anything in particular that you're looking for??" She asked, we shook our heads and she smiled again "well let me know if you need anything, ok" and with that she turned around and disappeared through a door behind her. We looked around a bit more before she popped her head through the door again, "oh before anything else, I was wondering if you could help me with something" we looked at each other wondering what this woman could want. I'm guessing g she saw our worried gazes as she laughed lightly "oh don't worry it's not anything nasty, I was just wondering if you could sample a few of our new sweets and fudge. We're relatively new here and are still figuring out what we should sell."

I smiled at the lady, I wasn't gonna pass up an opportunity of free candy "we'd be happy to sample them for you" her face lit up and she signalled for us to wait a second as she disappeared through the door and came back again with a few trays, baskets and jars full of sweets every colour of the rainbow.
"The fudge will be ready soon, I'm just letting it finish cooling" I nodded
"So you make all of your fudge yourself??" She nodded brightly
"Of course, homemade fudge is always the best as it's made with love" I couldn't help but smile at the woman, she was so sweet and nice.

We tried some of the sweets which were actually really nice, I liked the strawberry lemonade ones the best. She then brought out the fudge and all I can say is that a bite of it was like tasting heaven. We spoke a little longer with the lady, who's name turned out to be Claire, before we bought a few items and she gave each of us a small bag of the new fudges, we left promising that we'd come back again soon. "Oh my god guys, Claire has to be the nicest woman in this mall" smiled Ace, I nodded my head
"Yeah and she's so motherly and caring, I wonder if she has any kids of her own" replied Brodie. We nodded and chatted as we continued round the mall.

It'd been a couple hours by now and we'd walked around the majority of the mall, currently we were in this really bizarre clothing store that sold everything and anything weird, it was interesting to say the least. It was around this time that my phone rang; it was my brother, "hey guys I'm just gonna step out to answer this alright" the boys all agreed but Alec insisted on holding my hand and coming with me. Once I got outside the store and to a bench I answered it
"Hey bro what's up??"
"Nothing really, Spider's over at the moment and we're getting ready for a gaming marathon and I was just wondering  when you'll be home"
"Should be home soon, just at the mall with Jay, Ace, Brodie and Alec"
"Ah alright, I want you home soon we need you for this as well you know it's boring when it's just us two"
"Can I bring the guys over as well, that'll make it even more interesting"
"Sure why not, I'll just get Spider to order more food" 
"Alright I'll be home in a bit"
"See ya then, love you"
"Love you too, bye"
After that I hung up and headed back to the guys with Alec now on my hip, "yo, after we're done here we're all heading to my place, brother's having a gaming marathon and you guys have now been dragged into it." Ace smiled
"That's cool, we were thinking of leaving  soon anyway" we wondered round for about twenty minutes before we started heading to the cars and driving to my place.
