Chapter 17

Jay's POV

It had been a few days since school had opened again. To be honest it didn't bother me as much as I thought it would, I mean yeah the classes sucked but other than that it was pretty good. I was just sitting in the cafeteria when Harley raced over to the table followed swiftly by Ace and Brodie.
"Ha, see I knew I would beat you" both guys rolled their eyes
"Whatever" I laughed at them
"Why the hell where you guys running like your asses were on fire??" They laughed at my analogy but Harley answered my question
"They met me in the corridor as I was heading this way and they where bickering about who was stronger, faster and all that crap when they saw me and asked me to judge so I suggested a race since I knew I was fast and I won." I rolled my eyes at their childishness.

I then turned to the guys "really?? You raced her, obviously she'd win" they both looked at me in shock
"How the hell would you know??" I smiled
"She's in my gym class and I've seen her run in track." They rolled their eyes
"And you only thought to bring this up now??" I saw Harley laughing at the two of them her dark blue eyes sparkling with amusement. Our lunch consisted of random crap like that once the bell went we walked off to our lessons.

*Time skip end of school day*

Once the bell had rung I gathered all my stuff before heading to my locker to dump all the unneeded crap before heading to the parking lot. I was nearing the doors out of school when I caught sight of Harley, she looked overly happy for some reason I decided to find out why
"Hey Harley!" I called out she turned to me
"What's up??"
"Just wondering why your so happy today"
"Am I not allowed to be happy??" She sassed I laughed
"Nah it's not that it's just that today was pretty shit" she laughed
"True, I'm really happy because my friend Spi- I mean Simon is gonna teach me something that I've wanted to learn for years" I smiled
"I guess that's good enough reasoning" she laughed
"How's Alec?? I haven't seen him in a while" I smiled at how caring she was of him.
"He misses you a lot" she smiled bigger
"Tell him I'll see him soon" I nodded
"We'll see you around"
"You too" and with that she walked away.

Harley's POV

As I walked away from Jay I couldn't help but feel stupid, I mean really I almost said Spider and Jay knows who spider is. I sighed as I headed to the meet up point.

As I pulled up I saw Spider already there waiting "hey Har what took you so long??" I laughed
"Well sorry, unlike some people I have school to go to" he rolled his eyes
"Don't get sassy with me missy." I laughed and he began telling me what I had to do
"Alright well first your gonna show me how well you can skid to a stop then you can do what you want for half an hour before we get back to your drifting" I nodded
"Ok let's do this"
"Oh and before I forget we need to go to the gym after" I nodded since I hadn't gone to the gym in about three days.

After I'd finished practising Spider got into the car so I could learn drifting again. He turned to me "remember what I said before about watching what I did??" I nodded and he smiled "we'll show me what you can remember" I nodded and started the car I got it in gear and picked up some speed then I thought back to what Spider had done and copied the moves. Once I looked up I realised that I was drifting the car. I'd actually managed to do it. Spider looked at me "see I told you, you could do it" I laughed
"Ok so you were right" then an idea struck me "hey Spider can you film me drifting the car??" He nodded
"Sure" I smiled
"Then get out the car" he laughed as I kicked him out. I saw him get out his phone or camera I couldn't tell from this angle. He gave me a thumbs up and I began. I did the same thing I did before and then I decided that I'd  do something different. I drifted around Spider like he'd drifted around me the first day he tried to teach me.

Once I'd stopped the car and got out Spider hugged me then he poked me in the ribs "that was fantastic and all but why did you drift around me?? You could have caused an accident." I smiled innocently up at him
"But I didn't and besides it about time I got you back from the first day." He laughed
"Whatever, practice some more then we'll go to your house before getting ready for the gym." I nodded
"Sounds like a plan" so that's exactly what we did.

*Time skip to the gym*

We pulled up at the gym together, since we were already in our gym clothes the three of us headed in. Hunter signed all three of us in while Spider and I headed over to the punching bags. We played around a bit when I spotted a very familiar blonde "hey Scar" he turned to me with a smile
"Hey Raven how's it going??" I laughed
"I'm good, great actually how about you??" He smiled
"I'm good just waiting for Jay since he's dropping off Alec" I nodded
"Cool I'll see you later" he nodded and eased back over to whatever he was doing.

It was just about half seven when Jay came in I was actually sparring with Brodie when he came over to us. He smiled at Brodie "hey Arrow" Brodie smiled
"Hey Cobra, oh yeah this is Raven" I smiled at him
"Hey Raven, I'm Cobra from the way you know Arrow I guess you're  one of the champions right??" I smiled
"Yeah of course you're  one too" I stuck my hand out "it's nice to meet you properly" he shook my hand
"Nice to meet you to."

He stayed with us and Ace came over to us "what are you three doing over here??" Jay laughed
"Nice to see you too Scar" he smiled and joined us. Eventually the four of us began to train together. I spared with all the boys, I was sparing with Jay when
"You look familiar" I froze
"What do you mean??" I asked as I dodged his fist. He shrugged as he threw another punch at me
"Don't know you just look like someone I know or have seen before" I laughed it off as I kicked him in the ribs
"I get that a lot, guess I've got one of those faces" he smiled
"I guess so." With that I landed another kick to his torso which caused him to fall on his back I put my foot on his chest
"I win" he laughed as I gave him a hand up.

We practiced a little bit longer till there was only us champions left. That's when Steve called all of us into the main room. "Hey guys so as you all know the championships are just around the corner, I want all of you here at least three times a week till the championships are over." I saw Jay pale at that comment since he had to look after Alec. All of us champions agreed. After that all of us headed out the gym. I said good by to the guys while I waited for Hunter and Spider to leave. When I spotted them Hunter was on his phone as he walked over. Since he was taking forever on his phone Spider came and waited with me. When he reached us he had a grim look on his face as he put his phone away. He saw mine and spiders worried looked before saying anything.

"They wanna meet her, this Saturday." My heart dropped.
