Chapter 24

Harley's POV

It was currently lunch time and so far I hadn't had to deal with anything what so ever although the fact that the guys where always close by might have helped. They always seemed to be no more than a few feet away from me. I didn't mind though, it definitely made me feel safe though. Any way back to the current situation we where just sat at our table laughing and joking around when we heard footsteps. We all turned to see who it was only to see the principle heading our way.

He stopped right in front of us and didn't look too happy with us "all of you my office now" was all he said before he turned to leave. We all shared dumbfounded expressions before we followed him. What the fuck did we do?? And what the hell is this all about??

When we made it to the principles office he didn't seem to get any less pissed off with us. "Sit down all of you" he all but ordered we did as told and waited for what he'd say next. He turned in his chair to face us fully "today a student brought to my attention what happened yesterday and who caused it and I'm afraid to say that according to them miss Everdeen you where the ring leader in all of it. I was shocked why was I being blamed for it. I was the victim in the whole ordeal.

"Excuse me sir but you have it wrong, Harley wasn't the ring leader she was the victim in it all, she didn't do anything wrong and now your blaming her that's just not right or fair." Ace ranted the others nodding along and agreeing to what he was saying. The principle shook his head before continuing
"Well according to my source she was the one to start everything and that you boys where there joining in as well." I was sat there quiet in shock who would spread lies like this and then I thought of that one person who would and I got majorly pissed off. Of course she would spread stuff like this that evil conniving little bitch. I clenched my hands into fists and tried to calm myself down it didn't work.

I turned to face the principle "sir I don't care that you think I'm the ring leader but I will not stand to see the boys get in trouble when all they did was try and help me with the bulling that you seem to do nothing about, I mean the only time you actually got involved was when I left the school grounds in an ambulance. I won't stand to see them wrongly accused for something they didn't do when all they did was call my brother and a few friends to help me get away from the situation. Plus if they didn't call then the situation would have gotten out of hand as the people they called dispersed the situation" the principle just stared at me after I finished the little rant he sighed
"Miss Everdeen I can see that you're quite fond of the boys because they helped you, and you know that the school tries to do its best with bullying but at the moment it's your word against there's unless there's footage available or any other type of evidence. So unless your innocence is proven you will end up with detention during the school break."That's when it hit me we where right in middle of the parking lot almost directly in front of the school at least one of the cameras should have caught something.

"That's it" I say out loud all of them turned to look at me. "Where we where, at least one camera should have caught the event"
"And where where you miss Everdeen??" Asked the principle
"We were in the parking lot out front almost directly in front of the school" the principle nodded his head as I continued
"At least one of the cameras should have caught something"  the principle nodded
"I'll have someone look into it now but if they can't fined anything you all will suffer the consequences, dismissed." And with that we left the office.

Damn that was a close one I can't believe we got called in for that. The boys began to talk to each other about the whole thing, I on the other hand was looking for a certain someone, who was the biggest bitch on the planet and claimed this school as her kingdom. "Hey Harley" I was brought out of my train of thought by those words and a hand on my shoulder, I turned to see Brodie
"Yeah sorry I was distracted what where you saying??" He laughed
"I was saying how lucky we are about not getting in trouble especially since the competition is in about two weeks" I nodded
"Yeah we're pretty lucky about that, imagine if we couldn't go" we all shuddered and burst into laughter
"Yeah we all know how that would have ended, Steve wants us there so he'd do anything even if it means storming into the school and literally dragging us there" we laughed again because we all knew it was true.

After a while the subject was changed back to the competition when Ace blurted out "so any idea who it was who went to the principle about it??"
"No idea, what about you??" Replied Brodie.
"Me either" agreed Jay, they all turned to me
"I think I have a rough idea as too who it was" I say quietly. The boys all look at me so I continue "think about it, who wants to see me gone by any means possible" a look of recognition and understanding crossed their faces.
"That definitely makes sense that she'd do something like this, I mean she did organise that incident that put Harley in the hospital, she's more than capable of spreading lies to the principle" concluded Ace. I nodded in agreement
"Well then, let's just hope this thing gets sorted before anything else can happen" I said before we headed off to class.
