Wut.

Fanfictions

Oh, fanfictions. Some are really good. Some have good Ideas but are written badly. Some are just really bad overall. But most of them are ships.

I have some problems with ships. If they're incest: NO. If they're homo: sure. If they aren't canon: sure. If they make ZERO SENSE together? WHY DO YOU EVEN. 

I hate fanfictions that have:

1) Poor grammar

2) SO MANY DRAMATIC TWISTS THAT IT RUINS THE ORIGINAL THOUGHT

3) OC's inserted into the story with the characters. No. Unless you have a fanfic that is based off of the original, but none of the original characters, you DO NOT insert your character, let alone yourself into a story. Self insertion is really cool to write, but it makes you look like a tool. And even if you HAVE a story that was based off the original, it better be good. Otherwise, everyone is just like UGH.

4) Characters from other stories inserted into your story. Unless you're 1 really good at it or 2 you have one character from one story one character from another, making it a multimedia type thing, DON'T DO IT.

5) Characters inserted, THAT YOU CHANGED BEYOND RECOGNITION.

6) NO PLOT WHATSOEVER.

7) Just Poorly written overall.

I also dislike when my friends know I'm not that far in a fandom, that I'm still pretty new, and they just disregard it and send me fanfictions of their OTP like GET OUT OF MY FACE I'LL READ IT LATER.

And when I have homework and my friends are like, "Oh, go check out ____ it's a really good fanfic." and I am like,"ok" and they expect me to read it as soon as I get it. I'm sorry you aren't the only thing I care about. :T

I also hate it when fanfics use text talk.

The only time I'll accept these bad things you can find in a fandom, is when they're jokingly all put together, like in The Worst Fanfiction On Wattpad.

I'm not saying I hate fanfictions, I actually love a good fanfiction every once in awhile.  But I really dislike the really bad ones.
