Ships and universes

k so here we go. WARNING this is my actual opinion, so uh, Trigger warning: anti anti ships

Alrighty then. So, I believe that any universe could technically happen with fandoms and crap. Like, Rick and Morty does this thing where, basically, any AU is canon. So if you have an AU where your ship is canon, then there you go. It's canon. BUT only in the AUs where it's canon. This also allows other ships to be canon as well. So basically, every crossover is canon and every ship is canon in it's individual AU.

Honestly I am so friggin done with shipping wars and shit because I'm in the Wander over Yonder fandom and so many crazy things are going down because of ships. I'm actually considering making a diagram about it and what we can do to fix it on like, prezi or something. I'll put the link up if I end up doing it.

Basically, group A is shipping the main antagonist with female characters and group B is like "oh hey look its a hetero ship that i like. i don't like those other ships because its the main antagonist with other people" and then group A says "oh you're homophobic and hetero ships are terrible" like calm your shit group A.

I'm not trying to say that group B isn't at fault either. some of them go up to group A and say "the main antagonist shouldn't be shipped with anyone other than side antagonist A" and it's unacceptable as well.

yeah it's getting really bad.

so please stop hating on other ships. if you have something bad to say about something someone else likes just keep scrolling. just ignore it if you don't like it, keep your pride to yourself. and if you're going to tell someone that you don't like what they like, don't tell them that their terrible for liking it. because you know what, you probably also have some things you need to work out, so can it.
