Sasori and little Sakura walked side by side as they headed home after bringing her out for a walk in a near by town(Konan Threaten the Puppet master to take Sakura b'cause apparently they we're busy =_= too much for his liking) the wind blew an ice cold breeze warning everyone that snow will fall soon.

*Flashback*

"Oi! Sasori! take Sakura to the town near here she needs some fresh air anyway" Konan yelled at him after opening his door

"Go bother someone else Konan I'm busy here" he said not glancing to the woman

"There all in a Mission so your the only one not"

"Go take to the brat" 

"No I didn't want Sakura to catch his idiot mind! now take her or I'll make Pein burn you'r entire collection of puppets" she threaten

"Fine" Sasori grumbled

Sakura let out a shakely breath making Sasori looked at her in surprise.

"your cold?" Sasori asked

"nope,Sasori-nii " She said cheerfully

"ok tell me if your cold"Sasori mumbled walking a bit slower for the child

"Hai"

Few minutes later Sasori was so loss in a thought not realizing that's it's been snowing 2 minutes ago. He was taken a back when he felt Sakura hand (that his holding ) shiver a little. Looking down to the kid, he nearly smack himself ..How can he forget that Sakura is only wearing a dress.

"Didn't I said to you that if you fell cold, you need to tell me" he scolded

"I-i'm f-fine S-sasori-n-nii" Sakura stuttered her color became paler than her usual color

Now Sasori cursed himself for being a peice of wood. Cause clearly she's pretending that it's not cold ..

"no your not"

"Yes i'm-" the kid was cut off because a coat was torn over her head. She tried to take it off but can't do it because someone lift her up and hold the coat a little tight on her not let the cold weather get in.

"Thanks Sasori-nii" She mumbled

"You'r welcome"

Later that night as expected Sakura had caught a fever.

"Sakura" Sasori called the kid as she attempt to get off the bed she's lying on

"But I don't like-"

"you need to rest" he said making his way towards the little girl

"But I don't want to sleep yet" She pouted

"...." Sasori didn't say anything though he pulled out small dolls and make them dance

"Wow..." Sakura mumbled as she watch the puppets dance around while smiling brightly.Sasori let a small smile make it's way on his wooden lips..

few minutes later

"now Sakura go to sleep" Sasori said softly as he put away his puppets

"But I want to see more" she yawn

"when you get better ok?" he said while sitting on the edge of Sakura's bed

"Hai *yawn Sasori-nii?"

"Hmmm?"

"Can you stay here with Sakura?"

"...ok I'll stay"

"YEY!! night Sasori-nii"

"Night Sakura" Sasori mumbled smiling a little...a while later Sasori left the sleeping Sakura on her bed making sure that's it's comfy enough to the sick kid

"How is She?" Konan asked when she arrived on the base

"her fever has gone now, so don't worry" Sasori said to her after taking a glance to wards Sakura's room. Konan let out a sigh of relief after hearing the news before going to Pein's office to report.
