Before their eyes was carnage and chaos. The two packs fought against one another with a level of viciousness normally seen in packs of demons. Tal watched it all with Shade and Xypherius, but then she bared her fangs, snarled and jumping from the cliff like hill she raced into the frey. She spotted Cara who was laughing as she slaughtered her former pack-family, Tal snarled out a bark and slammed into Cara. Everyone heard the echoing yelp and the battle stopped as all turned their heads towards the two wolves. To the packs Cara and Tal were titans among them, as these two had been rivals long before Cara had joined the pack. Tal and Cara circled each other with fangs bared and countinious snarls echoing in the air; Xypherius sensed the demon who Cara was imprinted on and called to his brother who was quick to respond. Kartha was with Xypherael and both saw the two largest she-wolves as they snarled at each other. They somehow recognized Tal but not the other that she was facing and Xypherius told them who she was.
Neither of the wolves looked away as the tension in the air grew thick. When they stopped circling was when they rushed at each other, and the resounding crack of bone on bone was enough to set anyone's teeth on edge. Tal and Cara rose up onto their hindlegs with forelegs in the air as they came together in battle. The snarls and snaps of their jaws on thin air set both packs on the edge but the two titans were unfazed by the silence around them as they dueled it out, each managing to draw blood on the other. Tal dug her fangs into Cara's shoulder and the rival she-wolf yelped. Then turned her head and landed her fangs onto Tal's side. Tal snarled and returned the favor as she rose into the air; Cara barely lifted her front paws off of the ground when Tal came crashing down and Cara felt Tal's fangs deliver a mostly fatal blow to her throat and chest. Cara attempted and failed to grip Tal around the throat but instead went for her chest where her elbow met her side. Tal howled in pain but snarling she delivered a blow that Cara would be unable to recover from as her jaws locked around Cara's throat cutting off her air supply and she struggled to free herself only to feel the fangs dig deeper and puncture her throat. Snarls sounded from deep within Tal's chest until she was sure that Cara was unmoving as the rival wolf soon lay still with eyes glazed over. Tal pulled away and looked at the she-wolf then to the packs, but all watched the rival pack retreat as Treian and the others chased them off. But what none expected except for Xypherius was the demon to become enraged and attempt to go after Tal.
But the demon found itself full of bolts and a sword coming down upon it as the twin Angels and the demon hunter attacked. When it was deemed clear and the rival wolves driven away, Tal stood next to Xypherius, who had a hand between her shoulders. A few wolves had been lost and many more injured but in all the pack was still strong. Tal's ears were flat against her head but she felt indifferent to those who had been lost in the fight. Xypherael and Kartha had left, but that was nothing new to the pack as they were used to the comings and goings of Xypherius and Tal; Tal listened as each pack member tried to understand why the deaths and the attack happened but one young wolf looked to Tal as she watched them with ears folded back.
Beta... He folded his ears back and tucked his tail under as he addressed her. Tal looked to him as her ears went forward.
Speak pup. I will not bite. Tell me what is on your mind.
Well... Why did a former pack member attack us like that? He asked nervously.
Becuase she lost herself. She forgot that we protect the humans and all other living things. She was imprinted upon a creature that cannot feel love and believed that he loved her. Tal responded as Alpha nodded. Tal looked to Xypherius and the Angel could only nod in agreement.
"Demons do not love like Angels and Mortals can. Her imprint was hollow and one-sided; it was nothing like the Imprint that Tal and I share."
The imprint that Xypherius and I share is a bond stronger then any other bond we could have ever had without the imprint. Tal nodded in agreement. Anaurael, the mate to Imperius, saw this and openly recognizes the love Xypherius and I share.

A few days would pass before anything would come up and so Tal found herself at her forge debating on what to make. She wanted to work with the ten gold ingots she had left but no idea what to make with them. Her hair was pulled back in a tight ponytail once more she looked to her blanket parchment and try as she might nothing came to her silent mind. She sighed and finally decided to just draw something, as she drew something eventually took shape and she nodded when it was complete. She rolled up her sleeves and began working on the construction of her item, but did not hear nor see Xypherius as he listened and stopped another angel as she sang to help the metal "awaken". Xypherius and the angel listened and the angel could not believe what he was hearing.
"She sounds almost like one of us...but how?"
Xypherius shook his head, "Even she does not know. Say nothing of this to anyone." He watched as the angel nodded, "She needs to regain her confidance before it is made known." He warned the angel who nodded in understanding.
"When you can bring her to the Council Chamber. Tyrael wishes to speak with her about-"
"I am aware but he will have to wait a while longer."The angel nodded and left as Xypherius returned to enjoying listen to Tal sing.
