Tal was hard at work at her forge. Shade had brought the needed items and she was happy to discover that the drawing, along with the note, had been taken to Greed by the minion he had watching over her. She had found the needed ore, wood and salts waiting for her upon her return from discussing the Temple with the others. As she worked the forge she hummed to herself, she also slowly began to work with the wood, carved the picture into it and using a technique show to her by her former master she added the metals to it and then the jewels. She stained the wood carefully, and smiled once it was finished. Thankfully Xypherius had reappeared and was able to help her turn it over were she carved a message just for Anaurael upon it and signed in her special way.

When it was finished she looked to Xypherius and both smiled. "I am sure she will love it."

"I hope so. From what I understand she was born on Sanctuary so maybe a tiny part of her misses being down here. So maybe this will be a good idea?"

"We will see."

As Tal and Xypherius spoke, a large male wolf raced their way at break neck speed. He was black with dark brown markings, and his focus was on finding her and soon. He came to her cliff and sniffed around only to bare his fangs with a snarl. I have found you sister, and I will kill you. His brown eyes looked towards both the towns and he studied them carefully. What is yours WILL be mine angelic mate or not. He snarled out a roar as he leapt away from that area.

Tal stopped talking as Xypherius noticed her sudden mood change and was quick to leave to watch from the Heavens after alerting Izarius and the others. Anarius was quick to watch as Tal left the town in wolf form and met with the largest wolf any had ever seen. She walked stiff legged towards him and fangs became bared.

The pack was quick to encircle the area as Angel mates prepared for the worst. Tal and this unknown wolf stayed still for a time sizing the other up but soon it was as if all Hells broke loose as he made the mistake of attacking first. Tal dodged his attack and shoved him away with her shoulder; he slid away and snarls echoed as the real fight began. Since Tal was smaller then him she was easily able to dodge but he knew how to throw his weight around. He attempted to pin her and failed as she lodged her teeth into his thigh. Snarls echoed as he lodged his own fangs into her and Xypherius felt each one with intenstity known only to her. Tal refused to release him and the snarls continued. Both dug into the other and only when the pain was unbearable did they release and jump away.

Tal took a quick peak at the wound upon her back and from the corner of her eye she knew that she would need the salve. She snarled at him and he returned it; soon however several powerful angels appeared as Dorn and the Deltas moved forward. Xypherius appeared at the same time another angel appeared. Tal looked to Xypherius as he nodded and the wolves pulled back. The new angel turned to Tal and studied her as Xypherius scooted closer in a protective claim and the Angel understood as she returned to the rival wolf. Tal watched as she and the angels took the rival wolf away and looked to Xypherius with question in her eyes.

"She will tell you who she is soon. She wishes for you to know only after you have spoken to the council about what you need to."

Has she been spying on me?

"No. She has been told to keep an eye on you. Who sent her don't ask me as I am unsure." Xypherius kneeled down and wrapped his arms around her neck.

All this time we thought it was a male angel it was a female? From the looks of her she may possibly be from either Valor or Hope. We may have to ask Imperius and Auriel to find out who she is. Tal sighed as she rested her head upon his broad chest.

"You seem tired."

Rest does not come easy to me anymore. But come we need to go and see to the temple.

"Shift back and I will carry you while I fly to allow you to sleep." He whispered as she stood and shifted. He scooped her up and kissed her; he spread his wings and took to the sky. She closed her eyes and fell fast asleep; just as he looked to her, an odd sensation swept over him. He feared for her life but she would not stay out of harms way, Talarine why do you always throw yourself into danger? I love you and don't want you to be harmed. He looked at her and paused in mid-flight to study her once more. In sleep she was the picture of beautiful innocence, a sudden overwhelming fear settled over him of losing her. He continued to fly as the sun began to set and the moon began to rise.
