Tal stood upon her cliff overlooking the town, the rain was steady as the land healed from fire and spilled blood. Her wound had healed into a scar and she cared little about it; for her it was a reminder, for others it was a warning. For the Angels it served as something different, but what that was she would not know. She had refused the salve and let the wound heal naturally., when Anaurael had seen the scar she had thrown a fit and as much as Tal had wanted to listen to the young woman she had gently told her that this scar served a single purpose. Anaurael was still upset but Tal swore that next time she would use the salve to heal her wounds but still wanted this one to serve a single purpose, Anaurael had agreed to leave it be for the time being and Tal knew that she would not hear the end of it from her chosen sister. Tal closed her eyes and listened to the wind as it waved her thick fur around, she could hear the sounds of her pack as everyone readied for the day. She heard the birds chirping all around and could hear the approach of one who was neither pack nor wild. She opened her eyes as they narrowed and turned to look in his direction as the mortal came up. She shifted back for this meeting and studied him closely. "Do not fear me young Druid. I do not harm those who are innocent." Tal called to Xypherius and he grinned as he disappeared to speak with an angel who was quick to note this young man.

"Are you the one they call Talarine?" When she nodded he went wide eyed. "My masters were right. They scried to see who you were but never in a hundred years would they believe that you truly exist."

"Your masters are elderly but if they require proof that I exist they need look no further then quill and parchment to write to me." Tal smiled as the angel came down.

"Talarine is the Alpha of a sacred pack. Her pack is bound to many of my brothers and sisters and she is bound to a powerful angel from the Courts of Justice, who was chosen by all the wolf bonded angels to lead and guide them. Come will you join her pack with me?" The young Druid turned to see a female angel looking at him. She was from the Library of Fate and Tal knew that he would soon choose to freely join her for a time.

The young Druid went back to his masters to tell them what had transpired and Tal returned to watching over the town. So many thoughts raced through her mind that it almost almost scared her; Tal looked towards the now setting sun and huffed a sigh. She closed her eyes and let the warmth coax itself into her fur. in her minds eye she saw the setting sun turning the sky ranges of colors from blue to purple. The clouds echoed the choice colors of pink, orange, grey, and purple while the orange sun turned the sky from light blue to dark blue as it set for the night.

A memory of how she, Alexander, Drake, Daren, Dorn and Treian used to enjoy the setting sun after a good long run in the rain came up and a smile of sorts crossed her face. She shifted back and began to sing once more and this time everyone heard her loud and clear. Dorn and Treian knew what the song was and smiled to each other.

When she finished she felt eyes watching her and turned to her beloved Angel. He walked towards her and kissed her neck then lips. He saw her as beauty unmatched even though Anaurael was his sister. Xypherius pulled her close and their kiss sent fire through them both. He ended up holding her as the sun finally set turning Day into Night.

Tal opened her eyes to find herself in her bed. She sat up to see her armor upon the maniquen and stood to dress in it. She saw the dress hanging up and sighed as the armor was put on. Today would be one of those days, she had been called upon by the Archangels for reasons unspoken. She looked towards the window and walked out of her house. She quickly placed her cloak around her shoulders and let it fall around her. When Xypherius came to retreive her he was not happy. "Imperius is persistant!" He all but growled.

"Of what now?" Talarine asked as she held out her hand to him with him taking it.

"It was he who called this meeting with an unfair advantage on his side!" Xypherius allowed to come out as a growl.

"If he is so persistant then we will be the same. I swore to never retaliate with fangs or weapon but words are sharper then any weapon ever will be." Tal told her enraged Angelic mate. "Should he dare to draw spear, I will draw sword. I will keep a levelheadedness that only a true Alpha can keep, even if it enrages him further. Now tell me what is it he claims against us?" When Xypherius told her she sighed. "I see. No matter if we try to correct him he will be stubborn. Only those hidden documents can hold proof of my blood being pure and taint free. Even if he denies the papers I have a hunch the others will accept them and that he will be swiftly outvoted."

Xypherius could only nod and hoped that it would not come to blows this day.

Once they returned from the meeting Tal was visibly upset but kept a level-head as she thought over what had transpired. Xypherius had turned and point blank stated that if she was blamed for anything like that ever again he himself would leave the Heavens and never return. Tal had watched the whole ordeal with silence and let her mind think for itself.

"I will not shed my wings, but nor will I stand for you being blamed for what he attempted to lay blame on you for."

"Calm yourself, Xypherius. It will do no good to dwell on it. What would happen if you never felt the power of the Arch again?"

Xypherius looked to her then, "I would slowly lose myself. My wings would become dark and my mind would shatter. Eventually it would become so bad that I would be hunted and killed after being labeled a traitor."

Tal nodded, "Now think of how that would effect me in turn." Tal waited a few heartbeats and spoke again. "I am connected to you. If you were to lose yourself that would come back upon me and soon I to would be lost to the world around us. I would forget my humanity and remain as a wolf for the rest of my natural or unnatural life. I would forever be a wolf with my mind so broken that even if someone attempted to I could only have small parts brought together and not enough to allow me to be able to shift back and forth as I do now. I would see my human side as corrupt and throw it away." As she spoke these words the mental image popped up and he shivered. "The only thing the Angels would be able to do is chain me up not only for my safety but mostly for Anaurael's as well." Tal looked to her mate carefully.

"Talarine...I did not know..."

"That is what happens when a wolf loses their mate. We see no point in being human anymore."

"How do you-?"

"Know?" Tal asked as she shivered now. "Daren is suffering with that now. He sees me as Alpha but his mate was murdered and now he cannot be human. He is to far gone to be anything but a large wolf now. A Direwolf." Tal looked away towards Daren's direction. "I cannot aid him nor will I interuppt. As much as I long for him to be at my side once more he is lost to us for all eternity." Tal closed her eyes with tears threating to fall. She heard Daren's lone wolf howl and let a single tear slide down her cheek.
