"What the hell do you want," I asked with alot of attitude. "I want to talk to you Imani," he replied.
"Bae, who was at the door," I heard a familiar voice say. I turned around to see Jaden walking up behind me.
He hugged me from behind and pecked my lips. "Who's this," he asked but I had no reply for him.
"Imani, who is this," he asked again this time in a stern, concerned, and demanding voice.
"Uhhh....," I started but couldn't finish. "Hi, I'm Damien," Damien said and put his hand out. Jaden shook it.
"I'll be leaving now," Damien said, "Bye Imani...Bye...," "Jaden. His name is Jaden," I said.
"Bye Jaden," Damien said and left.
"Bae, who was that?" Jaden asked sounding very concerned. "It was nobody," I replied.
"You know I hate when you lie to me or keep secrets from me," Jaden said. "I'm not lying," I lied.
"If he was nobody then why didn't you tell me who he was off the bat? Obviously he's a somebody," Jaden said sounding a little pissed.
"He's a friend," I said, "No he's not. I know all your friends and he's not one of them," Jaden replied.
"Leave me alone Jaden and stay out of my business. I said he was nobody and I meant it. Why can't you believe me?" I said raising my voice a little.
Jaden didn't reply. I grabbed my keys off the table and stormed out of my house.
I got into my car and drove to my sister's house to see hiw she was doing. I wanted to talk to her.
We rarely speak anymore. Everytime we do speak ti each other we always end up arguing. I don't wannna argrue this time.
I pulled up to her house and knocked on her door. She never answered so I knocked again. Still no answer. At this point I was worried. She usually answers the door.
I pulled out my phone from my purse and called her. It went straight to voicemail. I tried to open the door but it was locked.
I then remembered she hid an extra key in the plant pot next to her door.
I grabbed the key and unlocked the door.
"KACEY, ARE YOU HOME," I yelled but got no reply. "I SAW YOUR CAR OUTSIDE SO I KNOW YOUR HOME," I continued to yell.
I went upstairs and entered her bedroom. She wasn't in there. I entered her bathroom to find her on the floor surrounded by champagne bottles and pill bottles.
I gasped. I quickly pulled out my phone and called 911. Minutes later I heard sirens. The paramedic busted through the door and strapped Kacey into a gurney.
They pushed her away and I followed. I rode in the back of the ambulance with her. They rushed her into the ICU.
