"Mom, I have something I have to tell you," Blue said. The whole room shifted their attention to Blue.

"I'm...uh...um," She started. Blue stood up and pulled her baggy shirt up. "I'm pregnant," She said.

I looked over at mom to see her eyes were bulging out of its socket, Kacey's jaw dropped, and dad had a look of anger on his face.

"How did this happen?" Jay finally spoke.

"How else do you think this happened, Shawn. She-," Mom started.

"She was raped, mom," I cut her off. Everyone looked at me.

"You knew about this?" Kacey asked.

I nodded. "She told me like a week ago. I was the one who told her to tell mom," I said.

"When and how did this happen," Jay asked.

"It happened about two months ago. I was walking home from Alivia's house when I was attacked," Blue said.

"Do you know who it was?" Sky asked.

Blue shook her head."No, it was a stranger," She replied.

"Baby, did you go the police?" Mom asked.

"No and I don't want to. It's whatever guys. It happened and now it's over. I don't want to put too much attention on this," Blue responded.

"No this is a serious matter, baby girl. You need to go to the police," Mom said.

"Babe your putting too much trust in the police, like what the hell are they going to do?" Jay said as he got up and left the room.

The room fell silent.

"Blue, let's go. We're going to the police right now," Mom said.

"But I don't want to go. I already told you, I'm fine. I'm okay," Blue replied.

"I don't care if you want to go or not. Someone violated you, baby girl. That will not be tolerated. He's out there probably doing the same thing to some other girl. He needs to be caught," Mom responded. "So let's go," She continued as she got up and left the room.

"This is why I didn't want to tell them, Imani," Blue said as she took a seat where mom was previously sitting. "You should've signed the damn abortion papers," She continued.

"What? You were considering killing your child Blue?" Kacey asked. "I don't think its that bad of an idea," Sky but in.

"Why?" Kacey asked.

"Because what if that baby turns out looking like her rapist. I don't know how I'd react to that," Sky replied.

"That's a fair point but that's murder," Kacey said.

"Is it though?" Sky retorted.

"That baby could have so much potential," Kacey defended her stance.

"True but do you really want to bring a baby into this world. Blue is 13 years old, she can't raise a child," Sky replied.

"Enough!" I finally spoke.

I turned to Blue. "It was the right thing to do, okay. They have everything right to be upset. I know you don't want to make a big deal out of it but you need to understand that this is a big deal. You didn't consent to sex, that man took your virginity away and that's not fair," I continued.

"I regret nothing," I said as I got up. "Go with mom," I went on as I walked out of the room. "I mean it."

I made my out of the room and to the front door. I exited the house and walked to my car. I entered my car and made my way to back to my house.

"How did everything go," Jaden called out from the kitchen.

I sighed. "Secrets were spilled so how do you think it went?" I replied. I made my way to the kitchen. "Where do you want to find tonight, babe," I said as I entered the kitchen.

I entered to see Jaden and my biological mom sitting on the barstools in the kitchen.

"What the hell, Jaden!? Why the fuck is she here?" I yelled.

"What's the matter, babe?" He asked.

"That's her!" I said.

I turned to her. "Get out of my house!" I yelled.

"Imani-," She started. "I don't want to hear it. I told you to get out once and I'm not going to say it again. What don't you understand? I don't want to see you!" I yelled cutting her off.

"You need to leave," Jaden said.

"But-"

"Now, bitch," I said.

The woman got up and walked out of the room. I followed her to make sure she left. I held the front door open as she walked out. I watched as she left my property. I slammed the door and walked back into the kitchen.

"What's wrong with you, Imani?" Jaden asked. "You didn't have to be so rude," he continued.

"What I did was justifiable," I responded.

"No it was not. Look, I know she hurt you and you have every right to be mad but she's still your mom, she's still human. After talking to her for the past half hour, she seems like she's changed. She's a nice woman who just wants to get to know her daughters but your just blocking her, shutting her out, completely," Jaden said.

"You just don't understand!" I shouted as I walked out of the room

"I understand more than you think!" Jaden yelled out before being completely out of my vicinity.
