"Its not you,it's me." That's all I can think about right now. How dare he! I can't believe I trusted him. I should have listened to Sam when she told me he was trouble. Tom Collins. That evil boy who ripped my heart into two. It's obviously ME if he broke up with ME for my ex-best friend Tara. You think you know people but obviously you don't.
RING! RING!
The doorbell rings and I walk down to open it with a glass of water in my hand. I open the door and the glass drops out of my hand and splatters everywhere. I stare at the creature that is in front of me.
Alex McNeil.
Alex McNeill is standing on my doorstep with a pie in his hand.
The same Alex mcneil that broke my best friends heart.
'Hey! I'm your new neighbour! What's your name?' He says.
'My name is fuck off you devil spawn!' And I slam the door in his face.
The devil spawn glares at me through the door and rings the doorbell.
'Who is that at the door darling?' Says my mother suddenly entering the hall glancing at every step looking ever so elegant. Let me tell you one thing. My mother loves her reputation and herself. She wears the most fanciest clothes while I would throw on a pair of tracksuit bottoms and a baggy t-shirt. I know she is ashamed of me I can see it in her eyes but oh well! You can't make everyone happy.
'Oh it's just another politician going around again' I reply but alex keeps ringing the doorbell. My mother opens the door and plasters a fake smile. 'Oh you must be alex from the McNeills who are our new neighbours?'she says. 'Yes ma'm I'm alex. My mother made your family this pie.' He replies while glancing over at me with a smug smile. 'Oh well tell your mother thank you very much. I'm sure Tessa here will eat it' she replies while staring at me and then she turns back around and says 'goodbye now alex nice meeting you. See you later' and he leaves.
My mother then just looks at me and leaves. Boy! I actually can't wait till school starts so she'll leave me alone.
