Lexi's POV
"Don't."
Ian looks at me and laughs. "Why shouldn't I? You're the reason that We even got into trouble in the first place."
"What is he talking about?" Maya asks me looking confused.
"I lied to you", I say looking at her. "I wasn't studying at the library all of Saturday night."
"You weren't?"
"She wasn't" Cameron interjects, "she was with Ian and I."
She stares at the three of us. "I thought you hated them" she says pointing at me.
I scoff. "I do. I never said that I was there by choice."
Flashback...
"Why do you look like you're constipated?" I hear a sadly all too familiar voice say from behind me.
"Go away. I'm not in the mood."
The chairs across from my table are pulled back and Ian and Cameron plop down in them noisily.
"Can you be quiet?" I glare at them, "we're in a library."
Cameron looks around. "We're the only ones here. I don't think we're bothering anyone."
"The librarian will get you in trouble."
"She was just conveniently locked in the bathroom" Cameron states nonchalantly bumping knuckles with Ian.
"You what" I shriek at them, "do you know how much trouble you're going to get in?"
Ian shrugs. "It's fine. She probably hasn't even noticed yet."
"What are you even doing here? I've never seen you step foot in the library before."
Cameron grins at me. "I saw you through the window and thought; why not visit my favorite King?"
"Because she doesn't want to see you...?"
"Not good enough."
"Besides", Ian adds leaning his elbows on the table, "we were in the area."
I raise my eyebrows at them. "Oh, yeah? Doing what."
Cameron sniffs. "That's none of your beeswax."
"I think it is since you've decided to ruin my night."
He scoffs. "Please. The night is still young. There's no way I've already ruined it for you."
"It's not like I have anything going on."
Damn it. I just basically said that I have no life.
"Great", he says slapping his hand on the table, "then you're coming with us."
"I'm not doing anything."
Ian stands up as well. "You have to. You already know too much."
I roll my eyes at him and go back to my history textbook, "this isn't a Movie."
"Well, I'm saying that it is."
"And I'm saying it's not."
"Pleaseeee" Cameron pleads pouting at me, "it'll be worth your while."
I should say no, but curiosity takes the batter of me. "Is it in any way illegal or dangerous?"
"50%."
