Lexie's POV

"You know, you didn't have to come" I state as Caitlin and I climb out of my car.

We decided that I would be the designated driver, seeing as I'm not even old enough to drink in the first place. But i don't think that'll be stopping people tonight. I must admit though, I am excited to see people get pissed faced drunk and make a fool out of themselves.

Its kind of disappointing though that not everyone in our school will be there, considering that most people payed the $100 to attend the school trip. I'm guessing that the attendance at the party will consist of people who couldn't afford going on the trip, as well as those who weren't allowed such as our school druggies and "troublemakers".

"This'll be fun" Caitlin sighs, walking in step with me as we head towards the house which is practically shaking due to the loud rap music which is spewing from inside. "I haven't been to a high school party in years. I miss it."

"I can't see why.." I mutter surveying our surroundings.

Considering that this is apparently Ian's house and he lives alone in an apartment, I think it's safe to assume that this is his parents house. They must be out of state on a trip or something.

Even though the party only supposedly started half an hour ago, the front lawn resembles one that's been going on for a while. There are red cups laying all across the lawn so that you can hardly see the actual grass, and there are about a dozen people laying on the ground, passed out or making out with someone.

Good thing Ian got the condoms.

On the way to the front door I bump into five people who are so drunk that they can't walk a straight line, and two girls that look me up and down with a sneer.

I didn't realize that attending party in shorts and a tank top was a sin.

I'm guessing that it is though, considering that most girls I've seen so far are wearing a bikini or a dress, that's more of a shirt then anything.

"I've never been to Ian's house before" I comment, as we reach the front door and I pull it open before stepping inside.

Another girl must have been thinking of doing the same thing because as I walk inside we crash into each other, knocking her to the floor as I surprisingly stay standing.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" She shrieks, clambering back onto her feet which I didn't think was possible considering her six inch heels.

If you're going to dance at a party and have fun, why would you purposely want to kill your feet to make a 'fashion statement'? No one's going to see them anyway...

She sends me an icy glare and turns up her nose. "I was walking here."

"Sorry" I apologize, "I didn't see you."

"Obviously" she scoffs. "And BTW next time you decide to walk into a house, make sure that you let the person exiting leave first."

I'm assuming that Amber knows her. Same dumbass logic. And same strange use of texting slang in an everyday conversation.

I sigh, not in the mood to argue with yet another stuck up bottle blonde. "I would have, if I had seen you. Calm down."

She looks like she's going to retaliate but Caitlin quickly steps forward, clearing her throat. "Excuse me, but why don't you run along? I don't really think your dress is agreeing with you."
