Ink Heart

Chapter 3

Josh's POV

I wake in the morning from the sun shining threw my window. I check my clock it reads 12:00 pm I have slept in a fair bit so I decide to get up and face the day. I prop myself up on my bed sitting on the edge and take a big stretch and head for the shower. I pull off my boxers and throw them in my room and step in my big glass shower the stream of water almost shocks me from how cold and refreshing it is but it helps me wake up a bit. After my shower I do a quick shave. My plan is to hang at home all day and relax before going out into the open with all the cameras so I just throw on my boxers again and don't get dressed.

Kristen's POV

It's 6:00 pm by the time I'm actually on the plane my parents would have found my note by now it makes my stomach turn thinking about it so I put my head phones in and shut the world out. I realize I must of fallen asleep shortly after because I am woken up by the sound of the Lady on the speakers.

"We are now flying over Los Angeles fasten your seat belts and pack all your personal belongings we will be landing shortly, Welcome to LA!"

I do just what the Lady says and prepare to land now I am getting strangly excited and hungry my stomach is hurting so I chew on some gum to stop thinking about it. "Wow I'm finally here" I can feel this relief in me some how I just feel free for once.

Josh's POV

I stayed at home all day today relaxing at home with Driver it's the first time I've done this in a long time.  I love staying home and relaxing but sometimes I wish that there was someone else here with me when i spend days alone I get to much time to think about everything. I am lying on the couch drifting to sleep when I am woken by my phone vibrating under the pillow.

"Hello who's this?"

"Josh We're you sleeping it sounds like it?"

"Avan?.... yeah I was, what's up?"

"Okay okay you gotta get your ass out of the house and come meet me at this new club it's down town at Palet St. you know the place, I'll see you here in a hour Okay no excuses byeee!"

"But I-"

He hung up, That was Avan my best friend we have known each other for a long time he loves to go out and party a lot. I guess it's time to get out of the house anyway? I walk up stairs to my room to get dressed, my LA cap, black shirt, jeans and black converse and head out the door.

Kristen's POV

It's been a long day of walking and by now I just want to make it to my apartment. Its not much of a place right now but I didn't want to spend all my savings on a apartment when I can go out and explore with all my money. So that's just what I do, I don't feel like getting all fancy and dressing up So I just stick to my outfit.

Once I arrive to my apartment I throw all my stuff on the bed and head out the door in a excitement wow this is the first time I actually get to be free. I wave a cab down and tell him to bring me to the best club in town. I'm under age but I made a fake ID card and its worked every time at home so it should work once I arrive at the club.You can hear all the excitement from outside the building when I get there. I am checked at the front and let in with no trouble at all the whole club is so over whelming I don't no where to start the bar at the far end seems good to get a few drinks in me.

Josh's POV

Once I arrive at the club I spot Avan right away waving me down. It already looks like he found some friends too he's over sitting by the couches with two girls side by side.

"JOSH!" "Ehhh man what's up man!"

I can already tell that he's drunk.

"Josh I'd like you to meet the ladies""Ladies meet Josh, Josh Hutcherson."

Right when the girls heard my name they became quite friendly I guess they know who I am but lets just say that these girls aren't really my type they are very beautiful and all don't get me wrong but you can just tell by the clothes that they were wearing and the way they talked that there not that real there just looking more for a one night stand anyway.

Kristen's POV

As I sat there at the bar I realized that the nights not going to be what I expected it to be I started off to a few drinks to a lot of drinks to getting drunk by myself at a bar sitting there in my thoughts again. Fuck I just want to die, God what a stupid idea running away, I will never get better, i'll always be depressed, fuck I hate myself, I hope I drink so much that I pass out and never wake up again.

Josh's POV

I sat with Avan all night at the club with him just talking with the girls I didn't feel like including in the conversation really I just wasn't really in the mood I stated off into the crowd of people there all dancing and having the time of there lives. Most of them were with another person they all looked so happy. My mind started to wander more then I noticed at the end of the club not far from where I was sitting something catch my eye it was a girl, a girl sitting at the bar alone I don't know who she was it just kind of interested me so I kept watching her.

As I sat here I watch her gulp shot after shot getting more and more drunk she looked so wasted and sad it some what made me worried even when I didn't know her at all. After time Avan went home with his two girls to probably hook up, but I stayed a bit longer I wasn't that tired anyways. Not that much longer after Avan left the girl sitting at the bar stumbled off with her hand over her mouth, she was going to throw up, all that alcohol had to go somewhere.

I stood up and followed behind her slowly so she wouldn't notice me. She then walked right out of the club to the back door at the end of the club that leads to a back alley. I stepped out side shortly after to she if she was ok but she wasn't there until at the end of the alley I could see someone lying on the ground I ran as fast as I could to see the girl face first on the ground right next to her puke. I bent down to see if she was breathing and she thankful was, she must have just have passed out from drinking to much. She had a small purse next to her so I checked all the pockets for any clue to where she might live but I found nothing, I did learn one thing tho, her name is Kristen.
