Finally out of the rehabilitation center and in Bryan’s car on my home. It felt great to finally be out, I can now see everyone whenever I wanted to. We pulled up to my house and I just couldn’t wait to get into my bed

“Feels good to be home?” Bryan said as we walked up to the front door

“Hell yes, I wanna see Aria, Kel and Averi later though”

“No problem”

He opened the door and there was Aria, Kelly and Averi with all smiles on their faces. Aria ran up to me and hugged me. She hasn’t done that since age 9 when she scraped her knees after she fell off of her bike haha. Kelly gave Averi to me and he gave me a hug.

“Aww I’m so happy to see you guys!”

“We’re happy to see you too, we made plans for all of us to go out later!” Aria said

“Yes thank you guys soo much”

I put Averi down in her playpen and went further into he house. They clearly redecorated and I loved every bit of it.

“Wow I love it”

“And you thought we ruined the house… So not the case”

“Haha sorry for doubting you Aria”

“Its okay mom, just glad you’re home.. You should go see your room”

“I’m nervous, but I’ll go”

Bryan took me up to my room and everything was fresh and new. It felt great to have a changeof scenery for once

“You like?”

“I love!”

I ran my fingers over the glass dolphin figurene

“How’d you know I like dolphins?”

“Every girl loves dolphins… I don’t know why either”

“They’re cute, and rubbery and nice…” I looked up and he was giving me that weird look “K fine I’ll stop”

“No its okay, your little infatuation with them are cute"

“Haha shush...Can you do me a huge favor?”

“Yea, anything “

“I need to go visit Patrick”

“… You sure?”

“Yea, I just need some support I’ll be okay”

“Right now?”

“No time like the present”

“Okay… Cool, lets go”

I walked back downstairs and saw Aria & Kelly kissing on the couch

“Hey lovebirds, I’m going out for a little while”

“Where to?”

“Aria… Kitchen”

She followed me into the kitchen and she looked a little worried

“…I’m going to go visit Patrick”

“Oh… I have a feeling he’s gonna like that”

“Really?”

“Yup…”

“How would you know this? Did he…?”

“Well I am my father’s child”

“True… Well I’ll see when I go”

“Be strong mom”

“I will love, thank you”

I gave her a kiss on her forehead and left out with Bryan.

Its around 12 noon when we pulled into Ferncliff Cemetary. I was nervous, but I kept it together. Bryan held my hand the whole way up. We found Patrick’s gravesite. I placed the flowers we got on the way up by his giant tomb stone.

“11 years and it still feels weird” Bryan said

“Yea, I’ll never get over it”

“… I miss him like hell, he should be here helping Aria… and you”

“Things happen I guess”

“Yea… You need a minute?”

“Yea, if you don’t mind”

“Its okay, I’ll be in the car”

I watched him walk away and I directed my attention back to the grave

“There’s some things I never got to tell you… So I wrote it in this letter….”
