*Jennifer's POV*
I told him I would wait outside his house on the porch, but he insisted that I come in. So I sit on the couch watching an episode of Dance Moms. I then look at my phone and see that it's 12:23, so I text Liam...
Hey, we'll probably be a little late...
It's okay, I haven't even left the house yet, haha.
Oh okay, I'll see you there Bear.
OH HEY, it rhymed!Oh Jen...
I know you love me!!
Eh, I guess... Jk.
I start texting him back when I hear the door creak open on my left. I turn around and see him walking out of his bedroom. Josh is wearing a dark green v-neck with light washed jeans, and a pair of Vans. I bite my lip. Wow, he looks good.
Words slip out of my mouth. "Hello handsome are you ready to go get brunch!" I exclaim. "Sure, I guess." He laughs sheepishly. I get up, hook arms with him and we head out the door.
We're walking arm in arm and I look at him."You look handsome Joshy." I bop his nose, and he smiles. We're at the end of his driveway, and we go across the street to my garage.
When we get to my house, I shuffle through my purse for the garage remote. We then get inside the garage and unlock my car. "I can drive if you want?" He says. "Oh my gosh Babe it's fine, just get in." He then blushes beet red.

*Josh's POV*
We've arrived at Starbucks, out of all places because we're too lazy to go anywhere farther. I blurt. "Well, since you didn't let me drive you here. Can I at least pay the parking meter? "I guess you could." She says. I put in two dollars before she second guesses herself. Only again, it is only two dollars.
I remind Jen to lock her car, and we walk inside; I have my hand on her back.
Jen and I find Liam and he stands up to hug Jen, who holds on to her a little too long. I feel myself getting stiff; I purse my lips.
I then greet Liam. My handshake and hug towards him was a little light hearted than usual. Though I shake it off, because I shouldn't feel that way to begin with, because we're all friends.Liam already has coffee, so Jen and I go up to the cashier to order. The cashier smiles a little bigger than usual. So I think she knows who we are. In fact, I look around and see that people are mumbling, which makes me feel totally normal.
I ask for a Grande cappuccino with a brownie. I ask Jen. "What do you want?" She's caught off guard. "Wait what?" "Do you want anything?" I repeat smiling. "Yes, but no. I'll buy my own food." She sasses. "Coffee's on me." I smile with full teeth.
Jennifer scoffs, reassures and orders a pumpkin spice latte with a turkey sandwich.
She rolls her eyes. "As if I don't have any money.""That'll be $15.27." I give the cashier my AMEX, and then she hands it back. Jen and I thank her, and we head back to Liam. "Wait!" She says quietly. "Will you and Jennifer sign this cup for me please." She says respectfully. "Sure we can." Jen smiles at her. We quickly sign before we cause a scene. I hand her the Sharpie and we head back to where Liam is sitting.
We all talk while Jen and I wait for our food and drinks.
"It's really nice that we have all come together again. I really missed my boys." Jennifer says.
"I know, and next week we'll be together again because of Mockingjay Part 2 promotion. So that'll be great." I say.
"Yah. I'm glad that over the years we've gotten so close." Says Liam. "Oh definitely!" Jen says.
"ONE GRANDE PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE, A TURKEY SANDWICH, A GRANDE CAPPUCCINO, AAAND A BROWNIE!" The barista calls.
Jennifer and I get up trying not to look around right after the barista just blew our cover. We take our food and thank the staff.

After we eat, we go outside and say our goodbyes. "I'll see you guys in a week." Says Liam as he waves and walks away from us. We smile and wave back.
We then get into Jen's car to drop me off at my house. Only before we even get to the neighborhood, I really want to ask her about last night.
Although, I'm not sure because I really don't want it to be awkward the whole ride back...
Only I have to, but at the same time who knows if she'll remember. I have to ask her, because it's been bothering me since I woke up this morning. After a few minutes, I then worked up the nerve to ask her. "Hey Jen. Can I ask you something?" Oh god, did I just say that. I say timidly. "Sure sweetie, anything." She smiles while looking at the road; we reach a stop light.
"Um, about last night, we were kind of drunk, and I woke up in your bedroom..." I say timidly and straight to the point.
Jennifer takes a harder grip on the steering wheel, and bites her lip. "So do you think we... you know... did it." I say shutting my eyes nervously hoping she'll say no. Because if so, who the heck knows if we used protection...
The green light goes off.
Oh gosh, I would have never imagined myself having to discuss this with my best friend...
"Josh, I honestly don't remember much. Last night was a complete blur. The only thing I remember is that we had too much to drink." She says.
Then Jen literally points out. "Only the good news is, I woke up with clothes on... So no, I don't think we did anything."I swallow hard, and let her continue. "We might have begun to undress, but then must have knocked out, and stopped." She says in a polite voice.
We then cut the conversation and remain quiet, except for the sound of our breathing and the radio playing Blank Space in the background. This is truly an awkward conversation, but it had to be said. Or else I'd die not knowing whether I knocked up my friend or not.
I feel the weight lifted off my shoulders. "I'm really glad we talked this out." She says. "Me too."
~
Jennifer drives up to my driveway, and parks at the top. We both sit in silence for a minute, and then look at each other at the same time. "Love you." She says.
My heart is beating fast, because I know she really means it. I am so lucky to have her as my friend. Jen and I have done so many movies together, and over the years we've developed a special bond no one can replace. "Love you." I smile softly.
There's silence again. Jen then breaks the silence. "I'll walk you to your door." We both get out of the car and shut our doors. This feels as if we won't see each other again. Only that is partly true because even if we're neighbors we actually don't see each other that often than we want.
Unexpectedly she comes towards me and wraps her arms around my neck. I then put my arms around her waist and bury my face in her hair which smells like vanilla. I can feel her breathing close to my ear.
She whispers, "I'll see you soon, okay?" She then kisses my earlobe, which sends chills down my spine.
She pulls away, but keeps her hands on my neck, and I put my hands on her waist, we're eye to eye again. "Okay?" She looks at me and repeats with reassurance.
I am completely dumbfounded by her words and face. Why don't I want to let go?Hey, I finally added Josh's POV! Thank you for reading!
These are so fun to write, I'll try and make these a little longer. Thanks again!
