JESS'S P.O.V

I was pacing thought my flat, nervously awaiting Niall's arrival. I hadn't slept a wink all night. The school had called and I said I was sick. I looked out of the window. The paps were still giving me grief. They hadn't moved. There were a few fans outside too, hoping to catch a glimpse of Niall. Guess they would. Some of the Directioners, actually a lot of them, had been giving me hate on twitter. They had been calling me sluts and whores, saying that I wasn't good enough for Niall. It made my heart ache.

Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. I rushed to the door and unlocked it. A pair of strong arm lifted me up swinging me around. I smiled.

"Hi Princess," he said.

"Hey."

He put me down and closed the door.

"How did you get here?"

"I brought Greg and Craig, my bodyguards. They're outside your door now. The paps are terrible."

"It's nothing I'm not used to."

I instantly regretted what I had said and I clamped my hand to my mouth. Niall still didn't-

"I know."

"What?" I asked.

"I know about the Flight 193 Lucky Girl thing, Jess. I saw the headlines and I searched you."

I sat down on the sofa, running a hand through my hair. I didn't want to talk about it. All this had brought back memories. Bad memories. I felt my breathing become heavy and I started having a panic attack. I heard Niall's faint voice, before I was enveloped in darkness...

--FLASHBACK--

"Come on Addi! Come on Jess time to go home!" my mother called.

"Aww I don't want to go home mummy! I like it here!" A four year old me protested.

"Come on Jess, when we get home I'll play princesses with you," my eight year old brother Addi said.

"Yay! Ok!"

Addi laughed and grabbed my hand, pulling me down ye tunnel towards the aeroplane.

"I don't like planes," I said.

"Why? They're the most amazing invention ever! I'm going to build them when I'm older," Addi said.

"I thought you were going to do money with daddy?' I said.

"I don't want to be a banker. Boring!"

Addi faked yawned and I giggled. We boarded the plane and I sat next to mummy in two seats and Addi and daddy sat behind.

"Did you enjoy this holiday?" Daddy asked.

"Yes!" Addi and I both said at the same time.

"Good. We're going home now though."

The flight attendants went through all the regular safety procedures before we buckled our set belts. I gripped mummy's hand as the flight began, then plane speeding down the runway. We finally took off and got up in the air. I undid my seat belt and let go of mummy's hand.

"Look! I can see the clouds!" I said, peering out if the window.

"Yes! What else can you see?" Mummy asked.

"I can see the wings!"

Mummy looked over my shoulder and saw the wings. Suddenly, an under piece of the wing flew off, flying out behind the plane.

"Mummy what was-"

I was cut off by the sound of the plane rumbling. Mummy gripped my hand. The lights cut out all of sudden leaving the entire plane in pitch black. That's when people started screaming. I could see my mum crying, her hand over her mouth. My dad was gripping her hand tightly, my brother huddled up into his seat.

"Mummy what's the matter?"

"Ladies and gentlemen, we are entering a code 9. A large section of our left wing has broken off and therefore the engines have failed. I am so sorry," the captain boomed over the speaker.

That's when the screams became worse. I could just recognise bodies running around in the darkness. Addi leant over my chair and whispered in my ear.

"I love you Jess," he said.

"Jess, Addi. We want you to know that we both love you to the end of the world and back ok? We always have and always will," my dad said, his eyes watering.

"I'm scared," I said, my heart beating.

"I know baby, I know. It's gonna be ok, we're all going to be fine," my mum whispered, stroking my hair.

Suddenly, there was a massive BOOM. I looked out of the window and saw the sky rocketing upwards. We were going down, down, down at the speed of light.

"Jerry! Protect Jess, cover her!" Mummy screamed.

My dad jumped on top of me shielding my body as the plane hit the sea below us...

--FLASHBACK OVER--

"Jess, Jess wake up."

I slowly opened my eyes to see Niall and Lucy standing over me.

"She's awake," Lucy said, moving away.

My vision soon came back. I sat slowly up and viewed the room I was in. It was a large room with rosé-red walls. I was laying on a chic black queen size bed. I had never seen this room before in my life. Lucy and Niall were now sat on the end of the bed.

"What happened and where am I?" I asked.

"You had a panic attack. I talked to Greg while you were out and he said you'd be fine so best to bring you here. You're in Lucy and Harry's room," Niall smiled.

"Yes, and we also called you off school for the rest of the week," Lucy said.

"But this is the last week before the summer holidays?"

"Exactly. Early summer break. What could be better?"

I laughed lightly and sighed. I suddenly remembered my flashback and my eyes began to fill with tears. It was a mess.

"Hey, do you wanna come downstairs? Everyone's here?" Lucy asked.

I nodded and stood up,the flashback still hidden in the back of my mind. No one should have this pain.
