Chapter 36: Wedding Dress

EMMA'S P.O.V

2 WEEKS LATER

I squealed and hugged Lucy and Zara as I arrived Zara's house. They had stayed in Arizona for two weeks after the birth of Zara's triplets as Cody had to have an operation and one of his kidneys removed, but everything was ok now. I clapped my hands as Zayn walked in carrying the three tiny babies. Eleanor and Danielle ran up to hug their boyfriends and I cooed over the three tiny humans.

"Oh my gosh they're beautiful!" I said. "Which boy is which?"

"Izac has the brown eyes and Cody has green eyes. And Izac cries alot more," Zara laughed.

As if on queue, the tiny baby boy began to cry and Zara and Zayn sighed at the same time. Lu laughed.

"Here, you guys need a rest. Emma and I will take the kids up to the nursery and put them to sleep."

"Are you sure?" Zayn asked.

"I'm positive. You guys go to bed. It's 11pm and it's been a long few weeks."

"Thanks."

Zayn handed me the boys and Lu had Spero and we carried them up into the yellow painted nursery. Their were three beautiful cots which Simon had sent them. I had bought them each a teddy and Lu and Harry had bought them all a little singing carousel to go above thier beds. I lifted a sleeping Cody out of the carry cot and into his crib, followed by a screaming Izac. Lu shook her head as I attempted to work out how to stop him from crying.

"Here, you put Spero in her crib and I'll see if I can get Izac down," she said.

I laughed and handed the bawling baby to Lucy and I admired the little girl that was now in my arms. I carefully placed her into the crib. Suddenly, it all went silent and I looked over at Lu. She was singing lightly in Izac's ear. His eyes were drooping and eventually he completely nodded off. Lucy smiled and placed him in his crib.

"You're really good with kids," I said.

"Thanks, and it looks like Cody likes you."

I looked over to the crib where Cody was stciking his hand through the railings in my direction. I chuckled and kissed his head.

"Night Cody."

We silently crept out of the room and closed the door as quietly as possible. Once we were out on the landing, the whole house was silent, signalling that everyone except Harry would have left. There was snoring coming from Zayn and Zara's room meaning that they were asleep.

"So, you and Tom are back together?" Lucy said.

"Yep. He's amazing. I've fully recovered from the suicide thing as well. Thanks for all the stuff you sent me."

Lucy sighed and stopped walking. She held onto my shoulders and turned me so that I was facing her. She looked me dead in the eyes.

"Emma, I don't question your intelligence but I don't think that taking back Tom is the smartest move you've ever made."

"What do you mean?"

"He left you Em. He left you for another woman and cheated on you for almost half of your marriage and then you just take him back like that. Has he even put his wedding ring back on?"

I bit my lip. He hadn't put the ring back on, but I hadn't given it to him yet.

"No," I whispered

"Well, I don't know what happens behind closed doors with you and Tom just if anything like this happens again, please promise me that you'll think about it first?"

"I promise."

She smile and opened up her arms.

"Come here you douche. Bring it in."

I laughed and hugged her. We pulled away and carried on walking down the stairs.

"You're still coming to the birdal thingy tomorrow aren't you?" she asked.

"I wouldn't miss it for the world."

LUCY'S P.O.V

"Do you have to go?" Harry whined.

"Hey, you're the one who proposed to me! I only have 3 months left before the wedding," I laughed.

"I know I'm only joking."

I felt his arms wrap around my waist and he kissed my neck. He fiddled with the engagement on my finger.

"I've booked the venue," he said.

"Where is it?"

"Aston Hall Church, you're hometown."

I turned around to face him. I looked him dead in the eye.

"Really? You did that for me?"

"Yes. I know you've always wanted to go back but you've always been too afraid. I don't want you to be afraid."

"Thank you."

I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him.

"And the honeymoon?"

He laughed.

"Now that you won't get out of me."

I pouted. Harry was keeping the honeymoon a secret as he didn't want me to know. I was about to say something else when there was a knock at the door.

"That'll be the girls," I said.

"You get your jeans on, I'll get it," Harry said, motioning to the fact that I was only in my white lace thong and my USA CHICK crop top.

"Ok."

I pecked his lips and he walked out of the bedroom. I pulled my jeans on and brushed my now purple dip-dyed hair. It was a golden blonde on top with about 2 inches of purple at the bottom. It looked awesome.

I walked downstairs and the girls cheered. There was Zara, Emma, Danielle, Eleanor and Lou Teasdale. I'd invited her becuase we'd become really close and she was like my sister.

"Hey guys! We ready?" I asked.

"Yep. The bodyguards are waiting outside."

I rolled my eyes. Ever since the press released that my new album was coming out early in September people had been going crazy. I'd released my new video for Here's to Never Growing Up last week as well so that didn't help.

"Ok, let's go!" I said.

I kissed Harry before we all left.

4 HOURS LATER

It looked perfect. I stared at it in the mirror. It was beautiful. It was ivory and just a regular floor length dress but with an embroided lace top and there was small velvet train. It hugged my figure perfectly and it was the best one I tried on so far. The girls had kept picking big puffy ones, all except Lou. She had just been sifting through all different dresses and she'd picked this one out just as we were about to go and find another shop. She was good.

I slipped on the matching high heeled shoes and took a deep breath. I opened the curtain and the girls gasped. I walked out and did a twirl.

"It's perfect," Lou smiled.

"You look lke a princess!" Zara said.

"That's the one."

I looked over to where the voice had come from. Emma and Zara both stood up and my throat went dry.
