*Hunter's POV*

I was absolutely freaking out. Today we revealed Ally's surprise to her. We were still a couple of hours from Nashville, but I was nervous out of my mind. I kept having this doubt in my head, that she wasn't going to go back to it, but I knew that wasn't the case. It was so hard to keep it a secret, and I almost blurted it out to everyone a thousand times.

"You are never going to believe what Christina sent me!" A voice emerged from the back of the bus, coming and sitting right next to me. A nudge on my shoulder came. "Yo, daydreamer, back to reality."

"What?" I turned to Ally.

She rolled her eyes. "You don't ever listen, do you?" She smiled and kissed my cheek.

"You missed." I pouted.

She rolled her eyes again then completely ignored my last statement. "Look at this, we both got these in the mail." She handed me her phone which had a picture pulled up. It looked like an invitation.

'You are cordially invited to witness the marriage of Heather Marie Porter to Braden Andrew Jameson'

I stopped with my mouth open. "They did not."

"Oh, they did."

I looked up at her. "Wanna crash it?" I smirked.

She laughed and fell down to the seat next to me, throwing her legs on top of my lap. "As much fun as that sounds, we're better than that."

I put my arm around her, pulling her closer. "Yeah, we are."

A silence fell over us. It was just us, Sam, Steve, and Matt on the bus, but they weren't paying any attention to us. So, it really just felt like me and her.

She suddenly turned to me. "How different do you think life would be, you know, if they hadn't done what they did?" She nodded at her phone. "I mean for all I know it could have been my name on that wedding invitation."

Both her and I shuddered at the thought. "The only wedding invitation your name is going to be on will have my name on it. You're mine." I said lowly, causing a pink tint to rise to her cheeks.

She cupped my face. "I know, but do you ever think about it? How much life can change in just a few months. You didn't even know I existed a year ago-"

"-Now look at us." I took her hands tightly, her fingers automatically rubbing over my knuckles. "I'm glad it turned out this way. Even if it sucked for a while, life would be kinda boring if I didn't meet you."

"Well, you did make my life a little more interesting since you did punch a hole in my wall." She piped.

"That's true." I leaned down to kiss her cheek.

"Are you okay?" I looked into her eyes.

"Me-? Yeah, I'm good. Are you good?" She gave me a look and I felt my facade crack a little. "I'm-I'm good."

"Are you hiding something?" Her eyebrows rose up.

"I-uh-"

From the other couch, Sam looked up at me, his eyes wide. He quickly shook his head and mouthed, 'not yet.'

"Hunter."

"You can't know about it yet." I blurted out. Oh my god, I suck at this. I will never play poker. Ever. Sam looked like he let out a breath of air.

Ally squinted her eyes at me. "I'll find out."

"That's kind of the plan." I turned my attention back to her, a smirk playing at my lips.
