*Ally's POV*

As Wednesday rolled around, I felt much better between Hunter and I. He didn't break his promise. We talked and talked until one a.m. and that's all we did. We talked tours, coffee, music, and life in general. Our conversation brought up the future; what our family would be like, what our houses would be like, and who'd we would be with. He listened to me when I talked and I did the same, sitting on my couch in the living room, with music playing softly in the background.

He is great company. We shared many laughs and stories throughout the night. I couldn't refrain from letting my mind wander into what we would be like if we dated. Even if we were together, how together could we actually be? He's an entertainer. His definition of a normal life is much different from mine. His life is on a stage in front of thousands of people. He's famous. He has tours, he has fans. It's his job; he leaves everything and travels to perform for the people who have bought his albums, supported his music, and watched him grow into the musician he is.

That's his normal life. Mine doesn't unfold that way.

Mine is in a coffee shop, where customers come in and buy coffee, and carry on their way. Yes, some regulars who come daily and support my job and business, but besides them, it's normal. That's my normal life.

But what irks me about our normal lives is how they interconnect together. If we were a thing, how would this work out in the end? I have never tried a long-distance sort or relationship before. What surprises me too, is that I want to try it, just to see how crazy and insane it is, and see how committed two people could be to each other, being separated from each other for so long.

My thoughts slowly dwindled away as my alarm began to ring. Another day full of endless possibilities.

I let Hunter stay the night. He wasn't gonna go home and disturb the others, so he fell asleep in the guest room. I thought he would still be asleep, considering he was basically on vacation. Turns out, I was wrong.

Hunter was sitting at the bar table with a cup of coffee with paper and a pencil in front of him. His right hand was lightly moving across the page ever so swiftly. He had his headphones in and was bopping along to the beat as he wrote and every few seconds he would belt out a little lyric.

I walked into the kitchen silently as not to disturb him in his state. I grabbed some creamer from the fridge, and threw open the cupboard; I grabbed the first mug I could find and pulled it out. Hmm, I don't remember this mug? I turned it over and let out a little gasp as I looked up at Hunter. My fingers ran over the smooth black mug and over the red 'HH' logo on it. It was beautiful.

I took the mug and poured my coffee into it, then sat down across from Hunter, watching him as he worked. I only watched for a minute or so before he finally looked up and around, his eyes landing on me as a smile spread across his face and he blushed.

"I wasn't singing, was I?" He asked.

"A little bit." I said smugly.

He slapped his hand against his face. "Awkward."

"What are you talking awkward? You're a singer, isn't your job to sing?" He shook his head with a laugh. "You are such a weirdo."

I stood up laughing, and excused myself briefly.

"Hey, what time do you open today?"

"Seven!" I yelled to him as I stopped myself at my bedroom door. I let out a little laugh and smiled, backing up and facing him. I poked my head around the corner. "Hey you," his head snapped up, "it's Hump Day." I said with a wink.

"HUMP DAYYY!" He yelled. "Hey Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, guess what day it is- HUMP DAY!"

I laughed as he continued to recite the entire commercial while I changed into my work clothes. As I finished, I snagged my brown boots with my fingers and held them by my side as I walked back into the kitchen. Hunter was back at it, writing on the paper.
