*Ally's POV*

The soft sunlight shimmered through my bedroom window as my eyes fluttered open. I took my time waking up, in no hurry to get up and get on with the day. To spend my Sunday, I was heading out to my parents house for some time away from the busy Nashville scene and Hunter was going to tag along.

The tour begins five days from now. I was going to the Knoxville show, then he would head out to Savannah. After that, Hunter had a few days off then Atlanta, then both shows in Nashville! I was so excited to see how the fans would react. Hunter knows how to tease them and give them small videos for FTLOM and other photos, but I knew he loves doing it and the fans love him anyways.

I turned over towards my nightstand and grabbed my phone, checking the time, which read 9:56, and also seeing the four or five notifications from Hunter. I laughed and unlocked my phone to read them.

"Wake up, I'm bored"

"Ally, wakey wakey"

"WHY IS YOUR DOOR LOCKED? I WANTED TO JUMP ON YOU AND WAKE YOU UP. PLEASE GET UP:("

"ALLY"

That boy is way too hyper in the morning. He needs coffee rehab or something.

I replied to him with a "coming" then grumbled as I sat up. I hate being a morning person on Sundays; I can tolerate the other six days, only because I get paid for it then have the entire rest of the day off after three pm, but no Sundays.

I fixed my hair to a decent state and pushed my door open, walking down the hall into the kitchen, and just with my luck, I stumbled over one of Hunters boxes, falling to my knees.

"Ally?" I got up and continued into the kitchen. "Good morning, sleepy head!" I heard Hunter cheer from the couch.

"Meh." I waved at him and directed my attention to the coffee machine. Ahh coffee. I took the warm drink and made my way to the couch, plopping down next to Hunter.

"Good morning?" He said again, this time as a question.

"Hi." I looked over at him and smiled.

"Sleep well?"

"Eh, slept how I usually sleep." I took another sip of coffee.

"Did you fall over back there?"

"Don't even ask." I said as I rubbed my left knee.

"So," he turned his body towards me, "what time are we going to your parents house?" He asked excitedly, which caught me off guard.

"You're excited to see my parents?" I questioned. I've never had a guy want to meet my family. Aren't guys supposed to be afraid to meet them? Right?

"Yes I am." He smirked, then he reached out to grab my hands and we both looked down at them. Even with his brace on, our fingers seemed to fit right with each other. "Now, you know what would make me even more excited?" Hunter asked as we continued our gaze.

"Uh, what?"

"If you introduced me to them as your boyfriend."

In an instant, my head shot up and he looked up with a smile. My stomach fluttered and my heart began to rapidly bang against my chest. That simple question, and it wasn't even directly asking. My mouth was open, trying to make an answer out of nothing. I couldn't physically speak, and I sat there, holding his warm hands, just staring as tears were blurring my vision ever so slowly.

I tore my hands from his and threw them around his neck, nodding my answer as I finally became too impatient to wait for my mouth to return from its speech impairment state.
