Ally's Point of View
"Ok, y'all can turn around."
My three friends turned around and, as they recognized Hunter, screamed, jumped, gasped, or all of the above.
"OHMYGODALLYHOW?" Liv screamed as she flailed her arms around, gesturing to Hunter. I exchanged a side glance with him and we burst into laughter.
"Hi Olivia, I'm Hunter!" Hunter opened his arms to her and she jumped into them immediately.
"Holy crap he knows my name, Ally I'm gonna kill you!" She muttered as she smiled in his arms.
"And you're Christina, and you're Megan. I'm pretty sure I remember y'all!" The two smiled at each other and both hugged him at the same time. Then Megan jumped back.
"Hold the phone, are we allowed to hug you? You're not off-limits right? Would Heather like this?"
Hunter visibly cringed at her name and so did I. "Uhm, no actually. Heather and I broke up." He said awkwardly, scratching the back of his head.
"Oh, Hunter I'm so sorry, I didn't know." Hunter just smiled and waved it off. Megan then looked over towards me. "So is he off-limits for you?"
I laughed. "No! He's not off-limits, who do you think I am?!"
"Uhm, every Hayniacs dream, aka, his girlfriend." She pointed at him.
I threw my head back, before peering at Hunter. "This happens everywhere we go, doesn't it?" He laughed and I sighed with a slight smile. "No, we aren't a couple. So as long as he's okay with it, y'all can hug him. Just don't hurt him, he's a keeper."
Suddenly Christina gasped. "Geez, what did you do?!" She pointed out to the cast on his arm.
"Oh, I uhm," Hunter stammered before I cut him off.
"-he dropped a piano chair on it!" I said while using the finger quotes around it. Hunter looked at me with a shocked face.
"How'd you know? I didn't even tell you that!" Hunter exclaimed.
"Professional Hayniac status." I said smugly, winking towards the blonde.
"No, I accidentally uhm, punched a wall..." Hunter said awkwardly. The three just stared at him blankly. I stifled a laugh as their faces changed emotions.
"You what?!" Liv finally said.
"It's a really long story." I said as I watched a man enter the building. "Now scooch your booties. Gotta work here!"
The four of them laughed and walked away as I greeted the man with a smile.
The day passed by slowly. There weren't very many people who came in, just the occasional who showed up and left. Hunter sat in the back of the room with the girls and talked to them, and I would join them every now and then.
I peered over at them all. The girls were laughing as Hunter covered his face with his hands, laughing too. I couldn't help but laugh at them. They all hit it off in a matter of moments. It was really nice, knowing my friends approved of him and all. I mean- maybe soon I would agree to be his girlfriend, and even if they were all fans of his, it's still nice knowing you've found a good one that your friends like.
I quickly wiped off a table and sprayed it down with the cleanser, before straightening the basket in the middle of it. I cleaned off two more tables and the small booths up front too.
The group in the back suddenly yelled out, causing my attention to be directed towards them curiously.
Christina had her hands up yelling, "I win losers!"
