Chapter 2: Eyes Meet

*KHLOES POV*
Even after me and Jacobs hug is long over I feel butterflies for minutes after that and I wonder if he feels the same...
As we approach the school I quickly become anxious. I look at Skyler and she looks really calm. I look at Jacob and he sees my nerves.
He grabs my hand tightly and grins.
Suddenly I hear Vanessa's annoying voice, like an 8 year olds.
"Hai babe." She says smacking her gum loudly. I see Sky cringe, she hates when people chew with their mouth open.
Jacob hugs her and over his shoulder Vanessa glares at me in a bragging way. I feel Sky tense at my side. She hates Vanessa just as much as me. After a short embrace Jacob releases and says
"Bye Vanessa I got to go to class now." She's still hugging him but after a few more seconds let's go and walks away.
Jacob straitens his shirt and sighs.
Off to first period.
Sky has computer coding and yearbook first
(A duel elective) so after a rushed farewell she hurries down the hall constantly being stopped for hellos and hugs.
I have year book and leadership first period so I look at my printed schedule and look for a room number. Leadership is pretty far so I begin my walk after a goodbye to Jacob as he runs after sky for computer coding.
In Leadership it was a typical into with a boring PowerPoint explaining what we do for the class and the teachers rules.
My phone dings halfway through the presentation so I sneak a peek at it. It's a text from my brother...
"Hey make sure you and your friend stop by my room later I want you to meet my friend who is transferring next week."
I hurriedly type my response and slip my phone into my bag. The rest of the class is free period so I text sky but no response.
Second period bell rings and I peek at my schedule. History with Jacob and Sky yay!
I run down the hall to meet them by our history room.
"Hey Khloe how was leadership?" Sky asks joining me in the hall.
"It was alright but just boring first day stuff I suppose." I reply offhandedly
Jacob joins us and we shortly reach our history room. Much to my displeasure Vanessa is there... After an hour of HELL listening to her and Jacob blubber over each other I was about to scream. It felt like and eternity before the bell rang.
3rd period Math with Jacob.
Sky ran down the hallway to art all the way across the campus
Math was just as boring as any other class that day but it went by faster then history did.
4th period came quickly and Sky met up with us again for science, science was fun because our teacher is really chill and let us have fun.
We basically hung out the whole period
Lunch finally I am starving
We sat under a tree and talked about our days and ate.
"I hope every day is like this." I said leaning back against the tree
The lunch bell rang and we were off to PE but me and Sky had a different teacher then Jacob because we were in pep / Cheer. And we parted to the locker rooms.
In PE we were assigned lockers and locker partners (me and sky were partners of course) after that our coach went over rules for the locker rooms and how cheer PE would be different from regular PE.
After PE was English
Me and Jacob had the same English teacher but Sky was in Advanced. (We would have been advanced but the class was full)
English is too easy so I barely payed attention.
The day was over before I knew it and it was time to go home.
"Wait guys we have to go meet my brothers friend!" I remembered halfway home
"Ok I'll text my mom and let her know" sky nodded
"Me too" Jacob followed suit
I raced up the stairs to Liam's (my brother) room
He turned in his chair to face us
"Oh hey guys this is my friend Chandler."
On skype there was a boy with wavy brown hair and light blue eyes. He wasn't really my type but I knew Sky would definitely find him attractive. I saw him look at Sky and his jaw dropped literally.
"Dang." Chandler said smirking at Sky
