Chapter 13: Nice To Meet You

                   *SKYLER'S POV*
Who did this? After we ripped all of the pictures off I noticed a note had fallen out of our locker once we opened it. I picked it up and it said:
"SKY- Watch out."
I crumbled it up and threw it in a puddle of water near me. My heart started racing. RINGGGGGG the bell rang which made me jump. I walked super fast to class and was the first one there. I left out a big breath of relief, that I was safe in a class.
"You okay there, Skyler?"
A voice asked.
I jumped & looked over to see
my teacher next to me.
"Yeah, I'm fine..."
I responded.
My teacher held up a picture of me that said "BYE" in thick red ink.
I said,
"Oh yeah, that..."
People started walking in and my teacher just said, "I hope you're okay."
Everyone looked at me weird and I didn't like it. I sat hunched over in my over sized sweater hoping no body would look at me.
At lunch Khloe didn't even seem worried...
how was she handling this so well? I texted my mom telling her to pick me up today.
Once I got home I chilled and did homework. Then I got a text from our group chat!

Jacob👌: Movies at 6:00?😝📽

Me: If Khloe's going & Chandler can come☺️

Khloe😘💗: Sure😛even though I'm right next to you Jacob😂

Jacob👌: She's going😂^ and yeah I guess

Me: K see you guys at 6:00!

Khloe😘💗: See ya

I texted Chandler and I started getting ready, this would be good for me to get out of the house.
I texted Khloe and asked what she was gonna wear:

Me: What are you gonna wear?!

Khloe😘💗: Teal tank top with fringe at the bottom, black shorty shorts, black converse and my hair in two French braids💙😋hbu?

Me: Cute! Should I wear my floral coral dress with sandals?😁

Khloe😘💗: That sounds cute! See you then

I curled my hair and put on a sparkly peachy lipgloss. Chandler texted me saying he was outside so I grabbed my mint purse and walked out.

Once we got there we all took a group picture, bought our tickets and walked in. I got tropical skittles and a Sprite and we walked in to get our seats!

We sat in this order from left to right:
Chandler, Me, Khloe, Jacob.

Half way into the movie I heard a unfamiliar voice say:
"Jacob is that you?!"
Jacob turned around looking confused and right when he saw the guy his whole face changed. He smiled and they both said, "Hey! What's up?"
Khloe turned around and said, "Oh my gosh James!" They hugged.
I gave Jacob and Khloe the look like, "Who is this?"
Jacob said, "Sky, this is James. He's been one of Khloe and I's best friend since 6th grade!"
James added, "I'm coming to your school in 2 weeks!"
"No way!" Jacob said.
James smiled at me.
James was cute I have to admit. He had black hair, brown eyes, pale-tanish skin and braces even though his teeth were perfect.
I could tell Chandler was uncomfortable so I squeezed him and he laughed.
James came over and sat by Jacob for the movie.
After the movie we walked out and took another picture. This time with James. Was he apart of our group now? He asked all of us if we wanted to come to his house tomorrow and have a swim party and then wear pjs and play some games. We all agreed and headed home.
Something about James made me suspicious...
