Chapter 65: Footage

               *CHANDLER'S POV*
I place a hand on Skyler's back trying to comfort her while we sit on her bedroom floor in silence.
"Sky it's ok just for-"
"No. Khloes been my bestfriend forever I have to make things right." She says pulling her knees to her chest.
"They- they think they know what happened, if they would just listen!" I say aggravated.
Skyler nods.
"I am going to go try to talk to them." She says standing up.
"Are you sure?"
She nods.
I start to get up
Sky puts a hand on my shoulder,
"Chandler I think I should go alone."
"Are you sure?"
"Very."
I sigh, "okay sky. Call me if you need me."
I sit down again.

                 *SKYLER'S POV*
I grab my penny board and slowly skate down the street to Khloe's, I knock on the door.
Khloe's mom answers,
"Sky!"
"Hey is Khloe there?"
"Oh no you just missed her she went to Jacobs house."
"Okay thanks!" I say setting down my board and turning around to go to Jacobs.

I am about to knock on the door, I bite my lip... What if they won't listen? I have to try to convince them anyways.
I knock.
A few seconds later Jacob opens the door, then he slams it.
"We don't want to talk to you!"
I hear muffled conversation behind the door and a sarcastic laugh from Khloe.
She opens the door,
"Here to try and kiss Jacob?" She sneers.
I bite back a smart retort and say very calmly,
"Khloe-"
She rolls her eyes and starts to close the door, I put my foot in the door so she can't close it,
"LET ME SPEAK DAMNIT!"
She opens the door,
"Fine whatever."

Jacob Weston and Khloe all look at me with glares.
"I didn't cheat on Chandler! Asher kissed me! Chandler believes me why don't you?"
They're silent.
"My sister saw the whole thing." He glares.
"How do you know she isn't lying? She's always hated me because she knows Asher likes me!" I yell.
"Well why don't we just look at the cameras in my backyard?" Weston sneers.
"fine. And if the footage shows I am right You'll stop avoiding me and Chandler and apologize."
"But-" Weston cuts in, "if you're wrong then you never speak to us again."
"Deal."
It's an awkward walk to Weston's house because no one talks. 
When we get there Weston yells for Kalynn to come downstairs, when she sees me her face turns red,
"Weston what's she doing here??"
"We're trying to get to the bottom of what happened with ash."
Kalynn's eyes widen,
"But- but Weston I-I told you what ha- happened."
"Yeah but we got it on video so we can prove what happened.
Kalynn starts to sweat but she doesn't say anything else.
Weston goes over to a desk in the living room and turns on the desktop.
"The camera footage goes onto this screen so let's see, Monday night..."
He opens the footage and fast forwards to when me and Asher go outside.
"Turn it up Weston, you'll want to hear this." I say.
He turns up the audio.
Everything I said happened happens right before them, him telling me to break up with Chandler, him kissing me, me yelling at him, etc.
Weston looks pissed but half laughs,
"Kalynn... That's not what you told us happened."
She avoids his eyes and says,
"I have to go." Before running out the garage door and starting her car.
"Sky-," Weston starts but I interrupt him,
"you can text me your apologies or say them tomorrow in person but I am going home now." I say smirking. Khloe and Jacob look ashamed and Weston just looks at the ground. I close the front door and start riding home, relived to have my friends back.
