Chapter 24: The Cabin
*CHANDLER'S POV*
Skyler wanted to go on a snow trip for the last week of winter break, I was so pumped I loved the snow. My parents and Khloe's parents also would be coming later that week. The drive was only a few hours until we got to Tahoe. We arrived at the cabin as the sun was setting.
Sky jumped out of the car and ran up to the front door. She unlocked the door and ran inside. She ran into the kids room and threw her bag one of the top bunks. I sat down on the one below it and Khloe took the other top bunk.
Weston came in with all our bags a few mins later
"Geeze what am I your busboy?" He dropped Khloe and his own bags and collapsed on the bottom bunk.
As we were all getting settled Sky's dad poked his head in.
"Nice try. Boys room is across the hall." And left.
Khloe and sky laughed and helped us move all our bags into the other room. It only had 1 bed.
"No way I am sharing that bed." I said
"Same. Rock Paper Scissors?" Weston said.
He won so I took the couch.
After we were all settled Skyler wanted to go out to the snow.
*SKYLER'S POV*
I put on my snow jacket and Beanie. I put thick jeans over my leggings, and spayed water sealer on the jeans. I put on some really warm long socks and my snow boots then waited for Khloe to get ready. After Khloe was ready I knocked on the boys door and Chandler came out but Weston was redoing his hair. We ran out into the snow and went to the garage to get sleds. I showed them the sledding hill and we went down for hours and only stopped when Weston got hurt going off a jump.
We all sat down in the living room by the fire and where Khloe helped Weston hold a ice pack to his head.
All around it was the perfect day. I just didn't want it to end because Chandler had to leave again.
I grabbed his hand and looked him in the eyes.
"When are you leaving again?"
He looks surprised.
"Where did that come from?"
I shake my head. I don't know honestly.
"I don't know yet." He says
"But it doesn't matter right now." He says wrapping his arm around me and pulling me closer.
