Chapter 48: Good Day

*CHANDLER'S POV*
Skyler had to get the cut stitched so she was in the hospital overnight.
All of us are on 'temporary leave' while the investigation takes place.
News about Skyler being in the hospital spreads fast.
Rumors spread that she was jumped, others that she was in a car crash and many others.
An officer comes into Skyler's room where Khloe, Weston and I are sitting waiting for Skyler to wake up.
"Seems like your story checks out, Macy confessed to about everything you guys said she did." He pauses, "You all are emotional leave for the remainder of the week. So just try not to get into trouble." He turns and leaves the room.
We wait a little longer for Sky to wake up,
A nurse comes in to check on Skyler. And says tomorrow she'll be cleared.
"Visiting hours are over, you'll have to go home. But you can come back tomorrow."
I sigh and give Skyler's hand a squeeze before Me, Khloe, and Weston leave.

*SKYLER'S POV*
The next day I am discharged from the Hospital with my arm bandaged up covering my stitches.
My mom picks me up from the hospital and takes me home so I can rest.
I take a shower and change into comfortable clothes, my black graphic sweat shirt that says "I am cooler on the Internet" and black leggings with long vans sock.
I throw Chandler's ripped sweatshirt and my shorts into the wash and climb into bed. I take my Mac from my bedside table and open YouTube.

I hear voices coming from downstairs and my mom knocks on my door.
"Sweetie we have guest here to see you." She calls through the door.
I shut my laptop and come downstairs.
"Oh my God Skyler you haven't changed one bit!" My moms friends says coming to give me a hug.
I laughed and hug her.
"Ash?" I say looking over her shoulder to see my old family friend holding flowers and a "get well" balloon.
He hasn't changed a bit! Same black hair same face, just more grown up.
He gives me and big hug and we go into the game-room to catch up.
"So what TV shows are you into now and days?" I ask him.
"Well... I am really into The walking dead right now." Ash says.
I laugh.
"You're never going to believe who I am dating."
"Dating?" Ash says confused.
I show him my lockscreen, a picture of my and Chandler.
"Oh my lord. You're dating the kid from walking dead." He laughs.
"Oh that reminds me! I haven't watched the new episode."
Oh let's watch it! It was really good."

We watch the episode and I get really jealous when Chandler's character kisses another character. I feel my cheeks turning red.
"That's your boyfriend?" Ash asks
I nod.
"Does it make you mad? You know him kissing her."
"Duh." I say.
Ash's family stays for dinner and they want to know all about what happened to me and why I was in the hospital.
"That's why you shouldn't date actors." Ash's dad nods. "That wouldn't happen if you were dating Asher here."
"Dad!" Ash says glaring at him.
I just clear my throat and excuse myself from the dinner table, saying I have to 'take my pain killers'.
Ash and his family leave and I finish the walking dead episode and Talking Dead comes on after so I decide to watch.
They talk about Chandler and Katelyn, the girl who plays the character Chandler kissed.
I turn off the TV and go upstairs to bed.

That night I have a weird dream about Ash. That we kissed. I wake up feeling really different about him.
I look at my phone and see Khloe's texted me,
Khloe: "Me Jacob, Weston, Chandler are going to the beach today wanna come?"
Me: "Yeah totally when are we leaving?"
Khloe: "5 mins and your driving btw."
I laugh and get ready. I throw my hair up in a pony tail and put on a coral sweatshirt over my bikini, black Nike pros, and black Nike socks with blue nikes. I grab my penny board, a drawstring bag and throw, towel sunscreen my keys and drive to Khloe's house.
