Chapter 8: Fair Day

*SKYLER'S POV*
I needed to pull myself together. I was being silly... Chandler still had feelings for me right? Maybe he wasn't feeling well? That had to be the reason. I dried my tears and opened my laptop to check my tumblr feed for a while.
A lot of it was Rust-ing (Chandler) reblogging sad love quotes about heart breaks.
"Awe chan." I said reblogging a few
My phone dinged, it was our group chat.

Chandler❤️: "hey guys my parents said to take a few friends to the fair today and hang out for the whole day! Are you guys in?"
Khloe💜: "sounds fun I am in if Jacobs in."
Jacob👌: "I am totally going!"
Chandler❤️:"sweet what about you sky?"
Me: "yeah sure sounds like fun"
Chandler: "alright everybody meet at my house in 30 mins."
I closed my laptop and started getting dressed
I wore black shorts with a hot pink top with an open back and black high tops.
I did my makeup brushed my hair and left it wavy for today.
I grabbed a little purse for my phone keys and money and told my parents where I was going and I would text them updates.
*CHANDLER'S POV*
I quickly got dressed and did my hair. I wore a short sleeve shirt with jeans and my black vans. I stopped by the door to look in the mirror I ruffled my hair and after much pressure from my mom grabbed a thin sweatshirt.
I texted in the group chat:

Me: hey you guys almost here?
Khloe✌️: waiting for Jacob
Skyler😍: walking over now
Jacob😋: be there soon
Alright Sky would be here first maybe I could explain myself. As I was thinking the doorbell rang. It was sky!
I opened the door and beckoned her in.
"Hey Skyler I have to tell you something. It's why I acted like that yesterday." I said looking at her, she looked sad now that the topic had been brought up.
"I-I-... I just wasn't feeling well and I had a lock of unpacking to do and my parents were getting mad at me." I lied looking at the ground and back up at her
"Chandler it's totally ok! You should have said something before you stormed out like that!" She smile coming over to hug me.
I wrapped my arms around her waist and she leaned her head on my shoulder.
This. This is how I should always feel when I am with my girlfriend but... Why do I always feel nothing?
The door opened and Khloe and Jacob walked in.
Khloe looked surprised but smiled lightly and Jacob gave me a weird stare before closing the door.
"Alright ready to go?" I asked
"Yeah go!" Khloe yelled excitedly
My parents offered to drive us because the fair was kinda far. I wanted to sit next to sky but there just wasn't enough room in the back so I sat in the passengers seat. As we were getting out my dad told my he would be back later to check on us and to meet by the ticket booths.
*KHLOE'S POV*
I felt weird about Chandler and Sky I mean he has a girlfriend so why is he snuggling up to Skyler now? Did they break up? Does she know?
Jacob grabbed my hand and we started walking
We were at the fair for about an hour before the sun began to set around 7.
We stopped to get food and Chandler and Sky split a strawberry and Nutella crepe. It was super cute!
After we ate Jacob suggested we go on this crazy ride where you're up in the air swinging back in forth while spinning!! I was scared but he promised he would hold my hand. As we got on I became nervous but I was excited and Jacob held my hand to whole time until we got off it was so cute.
*SKYLERS'S POV*
After a few rides it was dark and I began to get cold. Chandler noticed and gave me his sweatshirt. We walked around and then I saw the fish that you can win in the little bowls! I always wanted to do that! I grabbed Chandler's hand and we ran over. He payed for the game and I threw the ball and I bounced off but we still had 5 more. I threw it and it landed in the bowl right on top! That meant we win a beta fish! We walked around for a while longer with our fish until Chandler got a phone call.
*CHANDLER'S POV*
I set down our little fish tank by my feet and answered my phone
"Hey dad."
"Hey come meet me by the ticket booth I have more money for you guys."
"Alright we'll be right over." I ended the call and slid my phone into my pocket
Skyler picked up our fish shock we rightfully named rusty which was Sky's idea. Jacob and Khloe followed slightly behind holding hands and sky grabbed my hand carrying rusty's tank in the other. I saw my dad but someone was with him she turned around to see us and started running towards me. I dropped sky's hand and she looked at me hurt. It's was my girlfriend. I forgot all about her!
*SKYLER'S POV*
Chandler let go of my hand? I saw a girl running over to him and she jumped in his arms wrapping her legs around his waist and kissing him. Tears began to fill my eyes.
"Chandler?" I said shakily turning to face him.
"Sky this- this is my... Girlfriend." She had let go of him by now and was smiling swinging his arm in hers.
I stumbled back at the words... But he told me he was...
I set down rusty and let the tears flow freely I turned away and began running I ran out of the fair and called my mom once I was far enough away. She told me she would be there ASAP
And I sat slumped against the exit of the fair.
Her car pulled up and I jumped in telling her to get me home as fast as possible. Tears streaming down my face.
