Chapter 14: Ugh

*KHLOE'S POV*
Today was the day of the swim party, me and Jacob were super excited it had been so long since we've gotten to hang out with James!
James 😎: hey party starts in an hour. No plus ones
Jacob 😍: Skyler and Chandler can come right?
Me: I thought they were invited
James 😎: Skyler can come.
Skyler 💗: Chandler is coming with me
Chandler 👌🏼: I am here for her protection
James 😎: sure I guess
I get dressed in a tight tank top and shorts with my bathing suit underneath. After I am dressed I walk over to meet Chandler and Sky.
She is wearing a loose shirt that just passed her belly button and black shorts with her bathing suit under.
Sky is smiling and keeps nudging Chandler but he doesn't look happy.
"What's wrong Chandler?" I ask
"I hate wearing shorts." He glares
"Are you gonna swim?" Sky asks him
"I don't know." He says
"Well I am." Skyler says

*CHANDLER'S POV*
We stopped by Jacobs house to pick him up and walked over to James's house. When we got there the house was huge! There was a few more people besides us, they must go to James's old school. When we walked in there were 3 boys including James, and another girl who sat in the middle of them all.
I didn't bother learning her name, or the other guys names. I was just here for Sky. The girl eyed Jacob and I could tell Khloe was getting jealous so she grabbed his hand and laced her fingers in his.
"Dang James gonna introduce us to your friends?" One of the guys asked. He had blond hair the other had dark brown.
"This is Khloe, Jacob, Sky, and..." He paused to think.
"Chandler." I said
"Chandler right." He finished
The 2 guys started whispering to each other and I saw them nod their heads toward Skyler a few times. I could tell she was getting uncomfortable and wanted to leave.
"So uh let's swim." Jacob says rubbing his hands together.
We walk into the backyard and Jacob pulls his shirt over his head and I do the same, ready to swim...

*SKYLER'S POV*
I had never seen Chandler without a shirt and I was surprised at how built he was. I tried not to stare or anything creepy.
Khloe began to take off her shirt and shorts so I followed suit. I heard whistles and claps from James and his friends but I tried to ignore it.
James and his friends thought it would be funny to throw me and that other girl in the pool. But she got the better end of the deal as it was someone she knew and they pushed her but for me, it was a stranger picking me up in a fireman carry and jumping into the pool with me. The water was freezing!
He let go of me in the water so I swam down under him and popped up at the other end of the huge pool. Chandler was there and he pulled me out of the water and had a towel ready.
Chandler was fuming.
"What the heck was that?!" He yelled
"Sorry I didn't know that was your girl." The blond one who threw me in yelled getting out of the pool
"She's not! But it still wasn't cool!" Chandler yelled
Wait what? I am not his girl? I looked at Chandler and took a step back.
"So I am not your girl now?" I said angrily
"What- sky! You know that you are-" he stuttered.
I walked away to go sit on a chaise lounge with Khloe.
"So you're single?" James asked sitting down next to me.
"Apparently." I said sniffling.

*CHANDLER'S POV*
I pulled Sky aside.
"Skyler you know I like you and you like me too, I just haven't asked you out yet."
She nods shivering.
"Will you be my girl?" I ask
"Chandler- I really like you." She says looking at the ground.
"But now isn't the best time."
"I understand. But you're still my girl, dating or not." I say wrapping my arm around her shoulders.
Once we all dry off and change back into our clothes we arrived in, James suggested we all watch a movie.
We all voted and Horror won out so we picked a classic scary movie and sat on his HUGE couch.
Halfway through the movie Sky got up and asked James where the bathroom was. He pointed her in the direction of the nearest restroom, and once she had turned the corner the girl from earlier came and sat in sky's spot. Everyone moved down and the only available seat was in between James's blond friend and the edge of the couch.
Skyler came back from the bathroom and looked at me confused. I shook my head, there was nothing I could do. Sky sat down in the last available spot and uncomfortably leaned as far away from the guy as she could. I was already pissed but the last straw was when he put his arm around her.
