Marinette groaned lowly as she tugged the covers over her head, the ringing sound of her alarm clocking blared in her head as she hesitantly rolled out of bed and prepared herself for the day. Unlike every other school day, Marinette couldn't dread school more. Yesterday, she had completely embarrassed herself in front of the whole school which included her crush, Adrien. After finishing her breakfast Marinette left the comfort of her home and headed to school. Once she arrived, all of her senses heightened as a crisp wind blew across the empty school yard. Empty. The entire school was empty, there wasn't a single person here... or so she thought. "What the heck is going on...?" Marinette questioned as she carefully walked down the halls, glancing in every classroom to see if maybe someone was here. Marinette was about to call on tikki when she felt herself being flung harshly across the abandoned school. Marinette winced in pain as her eyes narrowed on the perpetrator. "I could've sworn I had gotten every last student..." The perpetrator said as Marinette tried to scoot back to maybe reach a classroom where she could transform. The perpetrator came closer, holding what looked to be some kind of over-sized hammer. "Any last words?" The perpetrator replied with a hoarse laughing as Marinette closed her eyes tightly, expecting a blow but none ever came. She slowly opened one eye to see Chat Noir standing in front of her, deflecting the hammer with his baton. "Seems I came just in time." Chat said with a grin as he winked at Marinette. She had the deep urge to roll her eyes but she held back as she got to her feet. "You better get outta here, I got this guy." Chat replied confidently as she nodded and ran into a classroom. "Ready Tikki?" Marinette asked as tikki flew out and nodded before transforming Marinette into Ladybug. While in transformation, chat noir had already taken care of the bad guy and Ladybug appeared and cured the evil without giving away her secret identity. 'That was close...' Marinette thought as she just smiled, the sound of Chat Noir flirting with her soon ceased as the pair went there separate ways. After all, they didn't want to know eachothers secret identities... Right?
