Jealous
Part 1: Ladybug
Ladybug stood on the crowded sidewalk as pedestrians gathered around, taking photos and videos of Ladybug and Chat Noir. They had just apprehended another akuma and had set it free before news reporters and paparazzi came barreling towards the scene. 'Where did Chat go? I can't see anything through these large crowds...' Ladybug thought as she looked around to, hopefully, find her feline partner. Her eyes landed on the cat who was currently being surrounded by teenage girls with cellphones, all of them where googling over him as Ladybug rolled her eyes and hid her disgusted look. She felt her stomach clench as she looked away from the unsettling scene before smiling at a little girl who had asked for a hug. Ladybug's mind couldn't help but think about what she saw. Why did it bother her so much? She didn't like Chat like that... Right? Ladybug shook the thoughts as she hugged the little girl. Ladybug heard beeping which drew her attention back to Chat who seemed like he didn't even notice it. He was now kissing the hand of another female, Ladybug felt her heart ache as she whipped her head in the opposite direction. 'Stop it Marinette! What is wrong with you?!' Ladybug scolded herself in her head as she took one last, almost sad, glance at Chat Noir who had seemed to of been looking at her at the exact time. Chat's eyes widened as he looked at Ladybug, He had never seen her have an expression like that... It made his heart wrench as he tried to push through the crowd to get to her but before he could reach her she had already stormed away from the scene, her sad jealousy turned into an angry one. Chat Noir stood on the sidewalk for several minutes before leaving the scene as well, the look Ladybug had given him burned into his mind as he walked home in silence.
