Gavin and Ray were making the best of the power and internet access they had before it eventually cut out. Posting a warning on the website, charging everyone’s mobiles if they had chargers and messaging the people in the other building, letting them know to remotely lock the gate and keep it closed. “Hopefully that gate will come in helpful if anything goes to hell” Jack thinks to himself, sitting next to Caiti who has dozed off, rubbing her arm to keep her comfort. He keeps thinking of zombie drop bears and what her family would be going through in a different country. Then the lights cut out. The desktops blacked out and the only light now comes from the afternoon sun peering through the window behind the games shelf. It was becoming colder and there weren’t many bedding supplies in the building, asides from cushions on the lounges and chairs, but hopefully Michael will come back with Lindsay and she may know where some bedding is.

It was 6 in the evening when Michael came back with his fiancée; she had been stuck in the podcast control room with Brandon and Barbara. Lindsay sobbed “Oh god, Joel, he trapped us in there, I was scared because he is so tall and I thought he would just break down the door, I went to get a drink and he shambled on over to me, Jesus”.

~Lindsay, Barbara and Brandon were in the control room working~

Lindsay coughed, she has had a sore throat for a few days now, it started when that creepy breeze came under the door while she was on the computer last week. “Must be some particles in the air-conditioning or something technical”Lindsay assumed, although it was particles in the air, it wasn’t nearly as harmless as an air-conditioner. “I’m gonna go grab a drink guys” Lindsay said to Brandon as she reached for the door handle, “No problem Lindsay” Brandon replied, glad as he already had his drink bottle and some food left over from lunch. Lindsay opened the door to see Joel outside in the hallway, just standing still, slightly tilting to one side. “Er, Joel, are you ok?” Lindsay inquired to Joel’s back. He shuffled his feet and turned to face Lindsay, starring into her bluey green eyes.
