The True Intention

Chapter 17

-Rose's POV

"Hello Rose" the Master says gently.

"What have you done to him?" I say.

"To who?" The Master says with fake innocence.

"You know who." I say. He sighs.

"He wouldn't answer my questions so I beat him." Says the Master plainly.

"You what?!"

"Well it is called a torture chamber." The Master says.

"You didn't. You couldn't of. I have to see him."

"Well I did. And no you can't see him." He says. I shake my head firmly, tears streaming down my face.

He beat him.

Beat him.

Hurt him.

My Doctor.

I launch myself at the master, but he's quick and dodges out the way. The chains stop me anyway.

"Shame that she can't move more than a few inches to get to her precious Doctor."

"Just let him go." I say in a whisper. He sighs and comes to sit in front of me.

"I'm not letting you anywhere near him. You're to stay here until he's answered every one of my questions."

"What questions? How long?"

"None of your business. And possibly a few months."

"But...the baby-"

"You'll give birth to it down here and then it's mine."

"No!" I shout.

"If you give me the baby, I'll give you the Doctor. Done deal."

"No-" but I'm silenced when the Master gets up and kicks me hard in the side

"Shut up blonde. That's final" The master stalks out the room, leaving me tear stained and bruised on the floor.

-The Doctor's POV

"What did you do to her?" I ask as soon as the Master returns to my chamber. I'm in a cell now, but the whip is in the corner, ready to be used. I've been stripped of my sonic screw driver and jacket, all I'm left with is my shirt and trousers.

"I barely touched her. Just a small bruise." The Master says, entering the room. I clench my jaw tight. "What's going to happen about the baby?"

"She'll give birth to it down there, and then it's mine. I'll raise it as my own, a born fighter."

"You will not touch-"

"I will."

"This is what's all this is about isn't it?" I say "The baby. You want it for a fighter. You knew Rose was pregnant right from the start. Taking our baby was always your true intention" 

"Oh clever Doctor, you've cracked the case again. Y'know, maybe I should take you up too."

"What's so special about mine and Rose's child to you?" 

"It's part Timelord, handy on the fields of battle. Hard to kill off. A perfect partner in crime."

"It's only a child! And mine and Rose's!" 

"But now it's mine!" The master shouts, and then laughs "Do you not see Doctor? How much better I am than you? I have the power to bring down nations, the whole Earth." 

"Why don't you just have a child with Lucy?" I ask. The Master clenched his jaw slightly and his face goes dark.

"I'm afraid she's incompatible with me." He says. 

"What?" 

"She can't have children of her own. So I'll use Rosey Posie's instead."

"Where is she? Where's Rose?" I ask worriedly. I need to know she's near.

"Five cells down from you. When the baby's born I'll let you know. You can have her back once I get the child." The master gets up and stalks out the room.
