Moving In

MIKE POV

Today is the day. Im going to be packing my things and moving in with Matt.

Before we were discharged from the hospital, we were told that they'd found Josh and they were working on improving on his mental health.
Sam has been visiting him everyday since. Jessica and Chris had to stay at the hospital for a little longer since they sustained more serious injuries. Although.... That hasn't stopped Ashley from sticking to Chris like glue. Emily went right back to collage. She wasn't letting a traumatic experience hold her back from her future.

We packed all my stuff before leaving for Matt's place. Luckily my roommate was out for the week, so I didn't have to explain why I was missing my fingers and why I was bruised and burnt.

We reached his apartment and unpacked all my things. Once we were done, Matt leaped onto the sofa and turned the TV on to watch a football match.
"Make yourself at home Mr Munroe" He spoke with a joking voice.
I grabbed a beer from the fridge and slouched down next to him.
"Thank you..." I mumbled.
He didn't hear me since he was focused on the game but im confident he knew how thankful I was to him.

EMILY POV

It's been a week since most of us got discharged from the hospital. Jessica and Chris were still there. Part of me didn't want to do this but I needed to do this. I needed to talk to her.

I knock on her door. A weak voice replied telling me to come in.

"Hey Jessica." Jessica replied with a soft smile.
"I just came here because I'm sorry. I want to go back to time where we were inseparable. Can we be friends again?"

"Of course we can. I missed those days. But Em remember this. From now on it's gals before pals."

I chuckled at what she'd just said.
"I will always put you first from now on."
