Date

MIKE POV

Last night was so fun. Just me and Matt watching movies all night, cuddled up with a blanket.

I woke up this morning on the sofa. Must have been a long night. I look around and see that Matt is missing.
"Matt?" I call out.
No reply. Where is he? I stand up and walk towards his room.
"Boo." Matt jumped out from around the corner and shouted. I totally screamed like a baby.
"What the fuck man! I almost clocked you!" I scolded Matt for scaring the blue out of my jeans.
"Sorry. I didn't mean to scare you so bad." I felt so angry at him but he gave me that look. He had puppy dog eyes and a small frown.
"How can I stay mad at that face. You're lucky I love you Matt." I said.

"Anyways, I wanted to ask you something. Since we're gonna be telling everyone about.... Us, in like two days, I thought it'd be appropriate to have our first date before that time."
"Sure. When we going?" I ask.
"Tonight. 6pm. Wear something casual."
"It's a date then."

5 HOURS LATER
MATT POV

Finally, it's time. I changed into some black jeans and a red polo with a pair of red Nike Air Maxes. My outfit was on point. However, Mike's outfit blew me away. He wore the bluest jeans out there accompanied with his favourite black and blue flannel shirt and some smart black shoes.

"Ready to go?" I asked.
"Yeah. But where are we going?"
"It's a surprise. "
We got in my car and buckled up.
I stopped the car outside one of the best restaurants in the city.
"You can't have fun on an empty stomach." I say.
"Here?" Mike questioned.
"Yes here. I made reservations for just the two of us. Thank goodness they had one spot left. Otherwise we'd be eating at McDonald's. "

Mike and I hop out the car and make our way to restaurant. I slam the door open dramatically, trying to look as cool as possible to impress my Mike.
As usual, he didn't notice.

MIKE POV

Matt went up to get our table. We were escorted to a booth and given menus.
"Woah." I say under my breath.
We both got ravioli since we both have a very strange obsession with it.
We ate.
We talked.
We laughed.
We found out more about each other.
We had one hell of a time.
Once we were finished, Matt and I paid then jumped back into his car.
"What are you doing Matt?"
Matt put a blindfold over me.
"I want where we're going next to be a surprise. It's gonna be super awesome!" He said in an excited tone.
We drove for around ten minutes before the car came to a halt.
"We're here."
My blindfold was still on, so Matt had to guide me.
"Okay, you ready?" He asked.
"Always."
Matt ripped my blindfold right off. We were on a cliff by the sea. It wasn't too high up. From here, you could see the whole city. All the lights on the streets and cars passing by. Above it was a sky filled with a trillion of stars and a moon shine bright. We sat with our legs dangling off the edge of the cliff.
"It's amazing."
"I know right." Matt said. "I come here all the time when I need to let everything out."
"Do people come here or is this your little secret hideout?"
"Well I guess you could say that this place is our secret hideout."
Our fingers linked together. We admired the view for hours.
We both turned our faces towards each other. Slowly, we leaned in until our lips made contact. Our first kiss couldn't have been better. It was so passionate.
We break away from the kiss.
I rest my head on Matt's shoulder.
"Thank you Matt."
