MATT POV

Our roadtrip officially came to an end. We dropped everyone off. Last destination was home. I parked the RV in the parking lot.

"Home sweet home." Mike said taking a deep breath of fresh air.
He held my hand and we walked up to our apartment. I wanted to sleep as soon as I walked through the door but Mike wanted the opposite. He said nines days of sleep is enough. That left me no choice but to stay awake until Mike fell asleep.

JOSH POV

I told Matt to drop me off with Sam at her parent house. I thought it'd be responsible if I spoke to her parents. Her parents knew me so there was no need for introductions.

We discussed what would happen with our child. Sam's parents thankfully, left their trust with me. They know that I'll be able to provide for her and the baby.

After Sam left to shower I wanted to ask her parents something really important.
"Sir, ma'am, I really love Sam, so may I take your daughter's hand in marriage?"
There was a long pause. Is that good?
"Just don't hurt her. Make sure she's happy. Okay?" Her father warned.
"Yessir! Thank you."

THE NEXT DAY

I woke up two hours early to prepare for this evening. I'm going to propose. Since I haven't done so already, I'm going to get a ring.

I bought a cute gold ring with a beautiful small diamond on top. Sam will love this.
I rented a black suit and tie with a crispy white shirt. Hopefully everything goes well.

Sam has her ultrasound appointment booked for this afternoon so i'll be going with her.

SAM POV

Josh and I were waiting for my ultrasound appointment. I'm so nervous.

The doctor called my name. Here it goes.

I lay down on the bed and lifted up my shirt to reveal my stomach. The doctor spread the gel on my belly.

"What do you think it's going to be?" The doctor asked.
"Boy."
"Girl." We both said excited.
I don't really care what the baby is.
"Well it looks like you're having both." Our jaws dropped simultaneously.
"Twins?" Josh almost fainted.
"Yes. One boy. One girl. Congratulations." The doctor spoke.
"Thanks." I squeled suprised.
I don't think I'm even prepared for one child. Let alone two.

"Well I guess we can give them the names we came up with." Josh mumbled as we reached the car.
"Little Nick and Bailey." I smiled.
Josh reached down and kissed my still small yet visable baby bump.
"So uh wanna go on a date tonight to celebrate?"
"Sure. What we doing?"
"How about a really formal picnic? Just like our first date."
"Looking foward to it."

JOSH POV

The picnic went really well. Sam enjoyed it. She looked more beautiful than ever. However, I don't have much time left. I need to do this now.

We were still sat down.
"Sam I really love you and with the twins on their way, I really think we should be together for the rest of our lives."
Sam gave me a confused look.
I get down on one knee and reveal a small diamond ring.
"Sam. Will you marry me?"
Sam dropped her jaw. Tears of joy started forming in her eyes.
"Yes. Yes. I love you Josh."
I slip the ring on her finger. We give a long heartfelt kiss.
Soon we'll be the happy family that I once had...
