Grayson tossed and turned around in bed, trying to fall asleep, with no success.

Soon, he just gave up and got out of bed, careful to not wake Armen, who was still resting.

He strode into the kitchen, and looked at his reflection through the window.

It was raining outside, the reflection obscured just slightly.

He sighed, and sank down onto the couch, still not feeling tired.

After a few minutes of staring at his reflection, Grayson shook his head, and got up from the couch.

He stumbled over to the door, and got on his jacket.

Drake's gonna hate me for this... But I need to talk to someone... He thought, before going out into the rain, at 12: 00 at night.

"So... why should I believe anything that you say?" Drake asked, starting to get a bit more comfortable with the enderman.

"That's the problem." The enderman smiled. "There is almost no reason. You just need to trust me with what I'm about to say."

"Okay..." Drake nodded. "I'm listening."

"I already told you my name, Eriol, and that I know your father. He's a very good man, and I can bring him to see you if you'd like. Not now, though. He's very busy back in the End." The enderman explained. "Ever since a few days ago, there has been a very bad case of Endermite sickness, and your father, being the one responsible for such things, has to stay there, for a while at least."

"So... why is it my father that's responsible for taking care of the endermen?" Drake inquired. "Is he a healer or a doctor or-"

"He's the leader, Drake, the high king of the endermen." Eriol cut him off, a sort of reverence in his voice. "And you, Drake Estiol~Errebus~Advoka~Svenns~Kensetextrava Feyd, are heir to the throne."

Grayson pushed through all the shrubbery that obscured the clearing where Drake's home was.

And when he got there, he saw Drake staring at an enderman.

He so wanted to rush forwards and warn Drake, but a voice in his head told him not to.

Drake is a sensible person. He reasoned. He wouldn't put himself in obvious danger without a reason.

But that didn't mean he wasn't going to listen.

"And you, Drake Estiol~Errebus~Advoka~Svenns~Kensetextrava Feyd, are heir to the throne." The enderman was saying.

What?! Grayson thought, taking a step back. What is this enderman talking about?!

Drake looked just as shocked as he was.

"A-And..." Drake stuttered. "How are you going to prove that?"

"Well..." The enderman trailed. "I do have a note, and a.. sort of souvenir for you..."

He pulled a piece of paper out, a few dull particles flowing out with it.

"Dear Drake," The enderman read. "You may not remember me, but I am your father. I don't expect you to, and I'm sure you've been through quite the ordeal, with all the corruption that went through your head. I wanted to help you, but the endermen have sworn to keep to themselves, and even if this wasn't the case, even our mages probably were not powerful enough. I was afraid to speak to you before now, because I felt that if you were torn any more off the path you were taking, it would destroy you. After it was clear the corruption was gone, I sent out my endermen to search for you, but you had mysteriously vanished from the library. We were searching for you ever since, but it was only recently we were informed of your whereabouts. We know you have a friend... What was his name... Grayson, I believe? Oh, yes, and Mia. I am sorry to say our troops looked far and wide, but there is no proof that Armen survived. I am sorry."

Grayson could see tears welling in Drake's eyes at this point.

"I will let Eriol explain the rest to you, but I just want to let you know that I love you, even though fate has been against us all this time. I am truly sorry. I have been an incredibly terrible father. Signed, the King of the endermen and your father, Xavier Estiol~Errebus~Darrius~Svenns~Kensetextrava Feyd."

"Do you recognize that signature?" The enderman questioned.

"Y-Yes Eriol, I do..." Drake murmured, barely audible.

"He also told me to give you this." Grayson watched as Eriol gave Drake a picture frame shaped object. He couldn't see it from here, but by the look on Drake's face, it was an incredibly important object.

Grayson suddenly didn't want to come any closer. Whatever was going on was solely Drake's business, and Drake's business alone.

And he felt guilty for snooping.

Drake glanced down at the image of him as a baby enderman, being held by his mother and father, and tears threatened to break him apart.

"Would you like me to leave for the night, Prince Drake?" Eriol asked him, but his voice sounded far off.

Drake didn't answer right away, and the enderman took that as a signal to depart.

"I'll tell you what you need to know tomorrow." Eriol decided, his voice almost gentle. "Expect me when the sun is around halfway up the sky."

Drake nodded numbly, and saw in the corner of his eyes as the enderman vanished in a bunch of purple teleportation particles.

And that's when Grayson decided to step forwards, reluctantly.

Alright... that was that! Hope you enjoyed reading it! I really like writing Drake and his father's names, though! XD Pretty much the only difference between their two middle names is Drake's is Advoka and his father's is Darrius! They were fun to write! I thought originally to give all enderman a really long name, but then I decided only the royals should... I don't know, it doesn't really matter.... Thanks for reading!
