"Do you need me to repeat it again?" Eriol asked Drake, stopping at a tree to break from the long walk they had had.
"I don't think so..." Drake thought. "I was wandering in the forest... Came across Armen and Collin's house, and then Collin's humanity merged with me... And it makes too much sense to be a lie, even though I almost wish it were..."
"I know." Eriol sighed. "Do you want me to explain more?"
"No, I just need a bit to think..." Drake murmured. "Just let me sit down for a bit...."
And he briefly reflected on the conversation he had had with Grayson last night.
"Grayson?! How much did you hear?!"
"Enough. I am truly sorry for spying, but I needed to know.... Are you planning on leaving too, Drake?"
"I don't know, Grayson. I can't make my decision right away..."
"So... are you absolutely sure he's telling the truth?"
"Grayson..."
"What?"
"I will say, that I am absolutely certain. The reason is.... I think you already made the connection. A few days ago, I was sent a replacement potion for the one that was lost."
"Drake..."
"I drank it Grayson, and I remember.... most of it anyways."
"Drake, are you sure that-"
"Certain, Grayson."
"Okay... just... be safe, okay?"
And Drake came back to reality.
"What's to become of me?" Drake asked suddenly, glancing up at Eriol.
"Well, it's really your decision. Your father wishes you to take over the throne when he ages, but to do that you must leave. You will have many responsibilities, and will probably not get much of a chance to visit anyone... for life."
Drake then suddenly tuned out, his body going into a state of shock.
Forever?! No more Grayson, or Mia, or... anyone? For a chance to see my father? I- I...
The hybrid trembled, and fell to the ground, his entire body shaking.
"Sire? Are you okay?" Eriol gasped, sinking down next to him.
"I-I..." Drake was on his hands and knees. "I don't.... want to.... leave him again.... not.... not like that.... no..... NO!!!!"
"Oh, this is a change of events...." Eriol murmured. He slowly reached out, and ran his hand down Drake's back, trying to soothe him. "It's okay, you don't need to go... Just... calm down.
And soon, after a few more strokes, Drake regained control.
"What... what... what happened?" Drake's vocal chords stung.
"I see... so, you don't realize." Eriol thought. "Of course, if Maiara's studies were correct, it was bound to happen eventually...." He then glanced at Drake, his face expressing something close to pity. "Drake, you seem to be slowly regaining your original form... your... enderman form."
"What?!" Drake exclaimed in shock and horror.

Mia sighed, as waves crashed against the ship's side.
What are those two up to now? She wondered. I didn't even get to say goodbye...
She glanced over at her crewmates, who were laughing while Viva played the guitar.
She should be enjoying herself, but she couldn't get her mind off the friends she left behind.
She climbed down belowdecks, and got a piece of paper.
She started to sketch out a picture of Grayson and Drake....

"What do you mean?" Drake stuttered.
"I mean, that ever since Herobrine was destroyed, Collin's humanity has been slowly fading away to join Armen." Eriol said calmly. "It should have still taken a few more years to complete the process, maybe even enough for your other friend to pass, but something has sped up the process..."
Drake thought. "It can't be..." Then it clicked.
"The potion." He groaned. "It must have not only made my memory regenerate, but my original form as well...."
"That is most likely correct." Eriol agreed. "According to the way you reacted earlier, I'd say you have about a week left until the transformation is complete.... I am so sorry." He whispered.
Drake stumbled, his brain on the brink of regaining it's earlier state.
"Sire, we should go back..." Eriol stated nervously.
"No... no... We are staying right here... I don't want to.... I... I want you to kill me!" Drake sobbed. "I can't live with myself anymore!"
"I can't do that, lord!" Eriol protested. "I just.... no! We'll deal with this! I'm sure there's a way!"
"No.. it's all my fault... Everything.... Armen...... Collin.... the potion... Mia..."
"We already went through this, Prince Drake, it's not true!"
"DON'T CALL ME THAT!!!" Drake screeched, turning on the enderman in rage. "Don't... don't..."
And then he fell over, a faint trail of magical dust spilling out of his mouth as he did.
"I'm sorry, my lord..." Eriol murmured, gently picking up the unconscious hybrid. "I really.... truly am...."
I really don't have anything to say other than hope you enjoyed! There are only a few more chapters left before I'll release the next book! I hope to be done by Christmas, as I have repeated countless times! (you know why, I hope!) Bai! ~Dream
