"And Allah knows and you know not"
-Al-Baqarah,232

Aiza's POV

"Bangles, done. Heels, done. Earrings, done. Am I forgetting something?" Zaara repeated like the twentieth time pointing towards the scattered things.

" For the sake of Allah, it is Sarah appi's wedding not yours, stop assuming yourself a bride." I dramatically covered my ears with my hands.

" Tell me onething!" Zaara crossed her arms over her chest and narrowed her eyes at me.

" What now?"

" Suggest me a make up youtuber!" She moved ahead and grabbed the laptop kept on the bed and started exploring the makeup tutorials.

"You know you are a unique piece one could ever find on this earth, I pity your future husband, how will he bear with you!"

" Thank you so much for the lovely compliment." She sarcastically said rolling her eyes at me to which I narrowed my eyes at her and shook my head in disapproval.

While Zaara was continuously scrolling through the videos to find the best one, Saad came and stood next to us.

" Aapi, if you put all these things on your face, I'm not taking you anywhere with me." He said pointing towards the laptop screen, looking at the make up tutorial and I laughed while Zaara totally ignored him.

" Aapi, I repeat, you already look like a ghost, dare not put all of these on your face and scare everyone all the more." He deliberately repeated to tease Zaara making her red with anger and I laughed at him.

" What did you say?" Zaara immediately stood up from her place and chased him all over the room and followed him downstairs to catch him.

" Saad is right but truth hurts Zaaru." I said loudly so that she listens.

" Let me come back to you too." She shouted back in response making me laugh.

I could hear noises of the siblings from downstairs and then khala's voice scolding them, typical desi family I thought to myself.

Finally, after ages Zaara returned back with a not so good mood after being knocked down by her little brother.

" How about we try the dresses?" I asked her and it was all to make her excited again and I knew she will never say no to this, typical Zaara.

We were trying on the dresses we bought the other day and deciding what to wear on the big fat Indian wedding and one more reason being we were really close to Sarah appi and her family.

"Aiza! Which heels do you think would go with this pink one?" Zaara asked biting her lips in confusion.

"The golden one I think" I suggested munching on my chocolate and pointing towards the golden one.

"Nah. I guess the beige one"

"Why did you have to ask if you had already decided?" I rolled my eyes at her.

"Huh. There's a thing called Confusion !"

I glared at her and she smirked.
